Jennifer Stephens: Honestly I haven't found one thing I dislike...err... Except for Nikki and Engel...okay so a few things lmao. As far as plots, character development and everything else... I'm hooked... 100% invested! On to book 3!

Read-Love-Review Blog: This book starts off with memories of the last chapter in the first book. That changed everything. Jemma is heartbroken and acts out like it a teenager. Then the next day, this story gets even more twisted. How do you know which truth to believe?
Trace is confusing; one minute, he is hot, the next cold, and then hot again. His back and forth and the love triangle with Nikki and Jemma honestly are annoying. I don’t think my emotions can keep up with it all. But it seems to get all explained; however, the pain from the last book and the predicament are still issues.
But of course, something happens as soon as they reconcile, and we’re back to cold and aloof. She is struggling with a lot of different problems at the same time.
Jemma embraces her slayer side as she is intrigued with why she is so special. She rescues her friend solving at least one of the issues in this story and the last story. Trace seems to have warmed up again, and he and Jenna have a delightful romance going on even with all the trouble around. Jemma is still on the hunt for a revenant, all while trying to learn herself and keep the visions from being a reality.

emma Malloch: Loved reading this book better than book 1 and left in a cliffhanger too! Looks like it’s a late night for me as book 3 is being started immediately!

Alison: There are so many twists and turns in this book it's crazy. Poor Jemma has no idea what she is or the dangers that are lurking in the shadows, love, betrayal and games payout in this second book.
Was a captivating read and I'm looking forward to discovering what comes next for Jemma and her friends.

Magwan911: I liked this... A gripping read from start to finish.
Poor jemma not knowing who to trust, her heart is her downfall and her greatest asset.
Finding out just what she is and where she fits in the world is the answer she needs to know, being a teenager and having all that angst transitioning into adulthood, having strong emotions and facing danger on a daily basis is just exhausting.
It's well written, great characters and dialogue with very easy to follow plot lines which in this book I saw coming but it's addictive all the same.
Cracking read from start to finish. Now to the next chapter x

Wendi Wilson, Author: Bianca Scardoni has done it again- taken me on a riveting roller coaster of a ride that left me panting for more. Invidious is the second book in the marked series and picked up right where Inception (My favorite book of 2015!) left off. I kept telling myself to reread Inception before I started this, it has been 7+ months after all, but I couldn't wait and dove right in. I have a terrible memory when it comes to books-I read at least one per week, usually- but this story was written so beautifully that I was brought back up to speed without it seeming like a redundant retelling of what happened in book 1.
Jemma is one strong chick. She's dealing with a centuries old vampire trying to kidnap her for her special blood, her best friend is missing-taken by said vampire, her one true love has turned against her and betrayed her. Yet she pulls herself out of the misery and stands strong, putting her personal issues aside for the good of her friend.
After several twists and turns, things seem to be working out- then the bottom drops out yet again.
The story is engaging and gripping, the writing flawless. The character development is wonderful- who knew I'd end up liking...

Bec Wolfe-Thomas: I found Invidious to be entertaining, I like Trace and Dominic is becoming more interesting and saw some growth. We got to learn a little more about whom and what Jemma is and we saw the story move forward. We did end on another cliff hanger that was a bit on the bad side.
In this book it really is Trace that made the story enjoyable, he really carries things and makes me want to know what is going to happen. Trace is probably the most mature and down to earth person in the story, this is including the adults that we didn’t see much of in this installment. Dominic is still a really bad boy but he’s looking like he might not be as bad as people think and may turn out to be a valuable asset to Jemma’s crew.
While I like the general story I’m having a harder time liking Jemma, I kinda want to knock some sense into her; she had a few tstl moments in this book. Jemma is also flirting with being a special snowflake... One thing that drives me crazy with the YA genre is the lack of adult involvement some authors strive for; this book had a serious lack of adult involvement. These teens can run around at all hours with no one missing them, get injured and no one...

Kindle Customer: Bianca did not disappoint with the second installment of this series. We are thrust back into Jemma's world where she is reeling from the betrayal she feels at the hands of the boy she love's. The book moves along at a good pace with Jemma determined to do whatever she can to save her best friend. Dominic is back and is his usual dark and sexy self and I think he cares more for Jemma than he would ever wish to admit. This book reveals what is special about Jemma and she struggles to come to terms with who she is and worries about how Trace could ever love her once he knows the truth.
Bianca has done it again and has drawn me into the supernatural story world. I could not put the book down and I am now left impatiently waiting for the next book.
