Ms. C. L. Montgomery: I have lived, breathed and loved every moment of these characters and this book was the perfect roller coaster of emotions and thrills. I always knew who was behind the mask but it was still amazing when he was revealed and perfect in every way possible. Never fails to amazing how Ivy can draw you in and love each book more that the last one of hers I read

Avidreadersbc: First I have a COMPLAINT and I am absolutely affronted. The blurbs are absolutely misleading. In book 1, I got the vibe that there's some kind of a masked party, the girl gets the kiss of her lifetime and decides to search for him. Seriously, even the cover pictures with the dress and the tux gives off lavish billionaire party vibes. NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE WOULD EVER GUESS THAT THIS IS A COLLEGE ROMANCE STORY. And I don't even remember the protagonists ever wearing tuxes or dresses.

So I skipped around 10 or 15 chapters haphazardly and read this book. And still managed to get the entire story.

There's a game where girls pick apart rose petals playing 'he loves me' or 'he loves me not' and the last petal remaining is the answer. Well Summer appeared to be playing the reverse game. One day she loves Eli, is talking marriage and adoption with him... saying she hates V & Miles both. And the next day she discovers V's identity and apparently realises she never loved Eli in the first place. Wtf?! And Eli suddenly gets together with her 'best' friend & psycho Liza and are Apparantly madly in love and have even been flirting while Eli and Summer were in a...

Krystal: I came across the first book of the Made of Steel series scrolling through my facebook feed. I popped up as an amazon free kindle book. I said why not? Downloaded it and was enthralled from the start. I immediately downloaded the second book of the series. As soon as I finished that one, I was downloading book 3. Holy wow this was a fantastic read and an instant favorite! I didn't want to put it down! I sent the amazon link for the first book to one of my friends and told her she would thank me.
This series quickly became one of my favorites and held me tight in the storyline with all of the intrigue and suspense. I guessed fairly quickly who V was and was incredibly happy when I was right. I think I would have been furious otherwise. I know that I will be reading this series again, likely very soon. It's a wonderful series and I look forward to reading more stories by Ivy. This would be a series I would 100% buy a physical copy of to avoid my battery running down before I could finish reading it again. It's a wear out the spine kind of read.
If you're questioning whether or not to read this series, I can say that you absolutely should read it. You will not be disappointed....

Amanda Stewlow: I read this whole trilogy in 24 hours. Great plot: the story is not predictable, with many surprises & twists that made it a solid, action-packed, all-go no-quit story. I enjoyed the character development. The romance was good. The solid mystery throughout was the Vigilante's identity. SOLID & satisfying ending; no cliff hangers, all loose strings are tied up.

My two chief complaints are the roller coaster that was Summer's brain. She was a victim of trauma, so some is to be expected, but there was a LOT. Roller coaster of emotions, back and forth with what she wanted. (E.g. She liked a guy because he loved all the pieces of her, then decided he only loved the broken pieces, the decided he loved all her pieces, then decided she didn't actually love him.) Also, her mental self-doubt was a LOT: it alternated with a fear of being weak and a determination to be strong. That strength dwindled every time at the drop of a hat until the last book.

The other complaint was the four lost months between the second & third books. Only a few things were said about this time (she was a b*tch to everyone, pushed everyone away, and trained with the Vigilante). It would...

Jamie W.: What a ride! This book series was action-packed (all kinds of action “wink wink”) and filled with intrigue. The series ends well, even though I wanted more information on how things were resolved, and overall I really enjoyed Summer’s story. Even with all the darkness she was able to find strength and light and that was the best part of the story.

At times the series felt very immature, with just how some of the characters acted, which was meant to bring levity, I’m sure. I felt that Summer was super wishy washy and it made it hard to like her completely. I also struggled with Dr. Miller. Not his character himself, but just that while they’re in the midst of all the chaos and hiding from the law, that they had to get a therapist in to see Summer and V. I would’ve rather they just be adults and tried to figure stuff out on their own. Don’t get me wrong, Summer definitely needs therapy, but it just felt weird and forced and almost dumb in the setting. But I think overall it was a great read. The story was fast paced and it definitely threw me through a few loops that I wasn’t expecting. I had hoped for more revenge with Donald, but I’ll take what I can get....

Cindy: When your life is turned into a mightmare, losing all family and someone you love dearly even at.a young age. To live with an abso!ute monster by the name of Don Roberts, who listed aftet your mother who married my Dad instead. To get revenge, he murdered them both, or so everyone thought and took the daughter for his own amusement and abused and battered her relentlessly. But the love Summer had for Mi!es , her childhood sweetheart, Miles, whose love for Summer, never died. And no matter what you do to try to break that bond of love. It never works, because real true love conquers all evil and cannot be broken. This story is full of doubts, trust lots of heartache. But has you addicted to it. With the many people trying to put the monster behind bars, which has proven difficult as being a mafia member with dirty cops in his pocket and twisting evidence to point to the innocent. This is another great story from this accomplished author and some must not miss this thrilogy and will true love triumph in the end. Read it and see for yourselves as you will not be disappointed

Shelly: Wow.I could not give this book any less than 5

*, Its the first books I've read of ivy shoals and they will not be my last. I actually got these in free kindle unlimited as they were more than I normally pay but oh boy was they worth it. Starting from the first book on the first page you was drawn in. The childhood sweethearts. Poor summer had to fight hard for miles affection but she had won him over more than she knew. The story just flows the whole way through with twists and turns till you actually don't no who you can trust. You want to shout out to summer for not knowing what was right in front of her the whole time but I'm not going to give anything away. Just read these books you will not be let down and will have to read all 3. I'm actually a steady reader but I read all 3 in just short of 3 weeks wich I quick for me. I can't wait to read many more of your books now and your in with my shortlist of best authers, sandi lyne, dilly court and Cathy glass. Every page keeps you intrigued so you just can't stop.

Gloria deGeare: This story has been filled with twists and turns from the start; this 3rd in the series is the Perfect closure. Page turning suspense actually saw me put aside every thing to read it all in one day...very happily, mind you 😊

Summer's life gets more complicated before it gets better. Letting go of dreams, her past, trying to start her new life, trying hard to forget her old one, a missed cue here, a wrong turn there... Summer and her team begin anew in an even more secure location, all eyes focused on the undoing of their new mayor. Who is V.? Who will ultimately capture Summer's heart, or, was it given away, forever, 10 years ago? How does one go about building such loyal police departments, bent on keeping on blinders...money talks..and silences tongues...and Don Roberts was won at That game for years.

I didn't see the ending coming at all (and I absolutely Love stories that can do that)! I could not have imagined it better! I recommend this book; you'll want to read the series from the beginning. It has everything: exhilarating suspense, love, secrets, betrayal, lust, twists and turns...and an ending to die for. Hold onto your seat suspense, and a romantic heart...
