Kindle Customer: The MFC is getting a little better and worse at the same time. She wasn’t as surly or rude this book but still made some stupid choices. Broke up with her boyfriend and almost slept with a complete stranger. After just meeting him 2 minutes later she is sucking face with him. Horny much? Not sure I will read anymore of this series.

A Spenser fan: Hmmm - my problem with reviewing is that I'm only on book 3 of many. So far I've enjoyed the series. Sienna is an interesting character, though I agree with other reviewers that it stretches credibility paper thin that, based on her back story that she would be as functional and loaded for bear with attitude as she is. Plotline is also problemmatic in that it's already clear RJC is digging in for the long haul by adding sidebars to fill out the spaces between developments.
The plus points of a rollicking action ride and a well-written enemble cast outweigh the negatives, hence the high rating and my willingness to stick with the series.
Onward !

Meg Chicago Peach: Okay so I am reading, ingesting these books by Robert J. Crane like Charlie and Sierra do souls. These are fast reads and why I am.finished with book 3, Soulless, Monday 4.
I like the premise enough to read these even if there isn't as.much meat on them as other series of the supernatural and freaky. I appreciate the point of view written by a male author a lot as they are not mired in over-detailed over explained feelings of settings. This book shows that there are many factors to remember and attempts to keep track of that's been a bit muddled however pneumonia keeps the thrill you going.
Watching characters other than the lead heroine Aka protagonist, Sierra Nealon, a powerful teenager who is trying to navigate the world around her as well as herself as both are strangers to her-has been enjoyable. Scott. Reed. Kat. Dr Peruguine. And now Charlie and Zack and Kurt...so many coming more so into there own.
Looking forward to more of the surprise character who appears at the end of this book as I begin book4.

Happy reader: I have to say I find this series really compelling. As I said in previous reviews for books 1 and 2, I found the pace a little off. While exciting and action-packed, Crane tore through the plot way too quick. This time he has produced a far more carefully crafted novel that slowly ramps up the tension. In it we see Sienna, taking her first steps as a fully fledged agent, accompanied by the same odd family to help her along the way, plus some new faces to throw into the mix as Crane continues to expand the series toward what I'm sure will be a spectacular finale. This also gives him the opportunity to develop characters in more depth and explore relationships between them. I can understand why some fans of the series might find the book a little less 'in your face', but they need to sit back and enjoy the set up as much as they enjoy the payout at the end.

Rachel Donnan: I was quite excited to go and get the third book of this great series, and I was not disappointed at all. I actually think out of the three books of this series I have read, that this is the one I have enjoyed the most. I started the book on my lunch in work and had it done by the time I went to sleep that night, it was a compelling read and I couldn't bring myself to put it down! This book had so many twists in the story which were so unpredictable. Loving the series so far, can't wait to get book four.

Mr. J. T. Beaton: I found this book a great read and have rapidly become a fan of Robert J Crane's writing and story telling abilities which have visibly grown from book to book. Having now moved through and read the most current in this series (book 5, Omega) I am a little loath to get into any detail of this one - if only for the reason that I am really into the story and where it is right now and would love to discus it but additionally would hate to let slip on something later in the series that would ruin this for a new reader! I would however easily encourage anyone to pick this series up.

prihrod: ## Plot: Just when you think "there is no way this could get better" Robert J Crane does it! As always the book has a lot of actions, twists, mysteries and revelations. Sienna's adventure goes on with new and old "friends" (I Highly doubt she would call them friends), she gets a better understanding of the doctorate and other Meta organizations and takes baby steps on finding more about her.
## CHARACTERS: Sienna is changing, although her sarcastic remarks remain (at least to me) her best feature, she starts to learn more about herself and the person she wants it to be, and the author is very successful on displaying not only the mixed emotions a Meta would have, but also the ones of a girl turning into a woman. We also have a better look at Scott (who is slowly starting to grow on me), Kat (Bitch! sorry, I couldn't help it, Sienna's reservations toward her kind of rubbed off on me), Reed (who could easily have gone to Old Man winter's academy for the mysterious type) and Charlie (not going to spoil this one).
## My Thoughts: Yet again I'm just waiting to start reading about this series on the mainstream media, this is just too good to not become a hit.
