Lover of written word: This book looks more from the ladies view than men IMO. The different levels we connect and betrayal has on our lives. I really enjoyed this book and seeing old favorites in a new light with a different perspective. Team 1&2 back in action 😘

tatwood: Loved this book! I have enjoyed all of the game series none have disappointed. I was worried before I read this book that the author would go like she has with her other series...But happy that she actually kept it with a story line and didn't make it all about sex. Don't get me wrong I enjoy a few sex scenes but I want a storyline and not instant sex. I found this book to have a little bit of everything, funny, thrilling, exciting, love, and suspense. Now if only the author would give storylines back to the dark series and leopard series then I could buy and read them again.

Each face their own conflicts and enemies...but the underlying Antagonist of the series is the most Diabolical villain I've ever read! Although these books are wonderful read as a series, Christine Feehan does an amazing job weaving the information needed into the story so they can be read as a standalone.

Phantom Game, Book 18, is the story of Jonas "Smoke" Harper and Camellia. After meeting members of all 4 Teams of Whitney’s Military psychically and physically enhanced Ghostwalkers and seeing many reach their Happily Ever After, We're returning to Team One and the Original 12 female orphans. Back to the revelations of Dr Peter Whitney’s Diabolical DNA enhancements in his ends justify the means narcissistic sociopathic mind!
Of course, Whitney's female experiments are the ideal partners for these Ghostwalkers and he made sure they were selectively even more so, pairing them. He wants to guarantee genetic matches...

Mary Heron: A question often asked of authors is where do you get your idea from. I would love to hear Christine Feehans answer. The Ghostwalker series is on of my top five series. Soldiers (who volunteer as it's a military project) experimented on by as evil scientist who is supposed to enhance their latent psychic ability. Only Peter Whitney does far more than that, he works on their brains yes, but he also spliced their D.N.A. With that of various animals (something they didn't volunteer for) . He began by experimenting on little girls ( orphans which he bought from around the world) what he did to them was despicable and Lilly is determined to find these women and make sure they are not suffering. Turns out though that's not the worst of it, as the series continues it becomes apparent that Whitney went farther still manipulating the women and the modified soldier so each has their perfect genetic match. Lilly's is Ryland Miller leader of team one and with each book we meet another couple. We also see a steady progression in the skills and abilities Whitney has implanted in them. There are four teams (so far) and as with each team there are less problems/side effects from the genetic...
