Nita King: Having a giant green hand with long black claws coming after you in a dream is bad enough! To have it go after another soldier who's stuck in a tree is terrifying! I'm glad Idina kept her wits about her!

Uncle Jimmy: The end came as kind of a shock. I always think bad thoughts when an author is unable to a proper epilogue. Leaving the ending just hanging is annoying.

Tammy: Really well written. Descriptive and fun! The only thing I do not care for is the cove art. It's nice but it doesn't get her at all.

whytehaart: I love the story and background for Idina.
I feel sorry for her not to follow her dream as an artist and making a life for herself in the army.
Military books and terms and army life make me grateful not to go that route.
Fascinating and interesting read.

Irene Amazon customer: As with book 1 I couldn't out it down, the only regrets I have is that I read them too quickly as I can't wait to see what happens next and I'll to the end of the books to quickly.

Tom Intiso: Individually, Michael and Martha are fantastic authors, but together they approach, if not surpass, G*dDa*m F**king PHENOMENAL. Let that thought just sit and percolate for a moment.
Now, moving on, I should also point out that they apparently let their inner sadists take some time off for Christmas, as the story ends with a nice neat package, properly wrapped and even with a bow on top of it, type of conclusion. These two have the mischievous spirit of tricksters, and they have a sneaky, some might say nasty, penchant for ending their books with hideous cliffhangers. Thankfully, not so this time.
This book moves us forward in every way possible with the characters, plot, and all the various mysteries. It really isn’t much to say other than the fact that it’s excellent and I can’t wait for the next book.
My only complaint, my only possible negative report (excluding their penchant for cliffhangers, of course) would be about the cover design. I have looked over the covers of these first two books and those for future books that are expected to come out, and not a one of them appropriately reflects the content of the series. If nothing else, the lead in...

Ktesis: The main character is quite interesting however there is very little action in the story. What you do get is a blow by blow description of parachute training in the us army. Boring!
However I’ll persevere and get the next instalment. Let’s hope there is some interesting things that happen.
