Gerri: I ALMOST didn’t read this book after the stuff that happened in Book 5 but I am so glad I pushed through those feelings! Book 6 was awesome and I can’t wait for book 7!

Chelle Veach: Book five was the crescendo and this book is the interim. The one that leads us into the climb towards the finish.
To do that the author has had to be brutal, a different kind of brutal than the end of the last book. This time we see Sienna lose her grip on the one thing that makes her different from Winter, her humanity.
Keeping in mind that she has a lot going on inside her head, literally. How many are in there now? A few more and they can create their own team.
Wolfe is getting his own way in the guise of the little helper, Zack hasn't had the guts to speak up and someone really needs to shut up about his scheming sister already.
So here we are on the brink of a new dawning and Sienna is going for total wipeout. Readjusting to the ultimate betrayal and that is only the beginning of the home truths she finds out.
At the beginning of this book I was worried she was going to totally lose it and who can blame her???. In fact I would probably do the same and enjoy it a little more.
It will be interesting to see what really has been the underlying plot of the powers that be and whether that will work out for them the way they think it will. Sienna...

sandrine: L'auteur est machiavélique et nous entraîne toujours plus loin dans les complots et dans la vie mouvementée et violente de Sienna, la fille dans la boîte.
Pour adolescents, jeunes adultes et adultes. Ames sensibles s'abstenir.
Impossible de ne pas lire la suite des aventures de Sienna même si ce livre est toujours trop court. A ce stade de lecture de la série, je me dis que le prix commence à être un peu élevé pour les 6 histoires qui suivent le bundle gratuit.

s.h2ocasa: It took me half a day before I tried resuming the Girl In The Box series, book #6. I was still upset and dealing with the information presented in book #5. I adventured on out of curiosity as to how Mr. Crane would continue with Sienna Nealon's story after the events of Omega, book #5.

There was a whole lot of dialog and flashbacks. This probably was the best way to tell this story. Sienna is Broken in so many ways, but she is learning more about self and others of the Directorate. I think she even found a friend in fat man Kurt. Glad to see Scott again and learn what he has been doing since taking a leave of absence from the agency. The key word for this book is Manipulation. We see in the shadows another old soul of the past who confronted Old Man Winter about Omega's plan for metahumans and humans in general. All I can say is...revenge is not a good thing, and can darken the soul. Sienna, will you rise up and take your rightful place in this metahuman world?

Still venturing on...only four more books to go. This one is shorter than the others before it. I still say yes to recommending this book and series.

Nachbarin: Wenn ich ein Buch kaufe, denke ich, ich werde auch eines lesen - mitnichten! Hier hat der Autor einen einzigen Gedanken, den der Rache der Hauptfigur, auf wenigen Seiten "ausgeschlachtet", und das war es auch schon. keine Begründungen, psychologisch eindimensional und inhaltlich langweilig. Jeder Euro dafür ist zuviel!

radish: Did the title have to all be in caps? yes! This is a book for all ages, young adult to young at heart adults. The lead (female) character is so funny, witty, sarcastic, strong and not least of all, human. I love Sienna, love watching her .. or reading, grow up into her own.
