WBW: Put off starting the Girl in the Box series but it always nagged at me. Am glad I succumbed! Thru 10, 45 more to go. This is happy reading and Robert Crane has definitely moved waaaay up the list in my favorite authors. 😃

s.h2ocasa: The first battle in this book was amazing!! I felt as if I was watching it happen in real time. I felt every kick, punch....and all the other things that happened. Wow! Now that's how you fight!!! Got me real excited to see how the book/series comes to an end.
Did not see that coming! More surprises! More info about the gods of old. Sienna has grown up. That's saying a lot for a nineteen year old metahuman forced to be leader against an army of goons trying to kill her against orders.
The last few chapters of this book, and particular series was indeed worth all the countless hours spent reading all ten books. Eye opening information, things I've been waiting to see and so much more!!! "Remember"....Well worth the wait! All ten books coming together in the end...POWERFUL!
POWER is the appropriate title for the last book in this Girl In the Box series. In fact, all titles, for each book, was on point. The graphics were "out of the world" for me. Not just talking about the book covers, more about the detailed, mental images written that so enhanced the telling of these stories about Sienna Nealon and the metahumans.
As a young girl, I was heavily involved...

Amazon Customer: I love any good book with a strong heroine, especially one who is independent and doesn't get mixed up in her feelings for the two boys she's in love with (yes, twilight I am judging you).
Sienna is a character you can connect with. She isn't perfect, like most authors normally make their main characters. She has her flaws and though sometimes she tries to fight them, in the end she always overcomes them and we grow with her because of it. I feel like this was a great ending to the series. It was action packed and left you wondering until the last moment. I think what is good about this ending is that it isn't the end for Sienna, it's just the end of her growing up and becoming the woman she is. She's no longer a child and we have been through that personal growth with her.
What I loved the most about this was that the romance took a background role! I love Robert for this! There is nothing worse than authors who try to force in romance to draw a certain type of reader in. It was easy flowing, subtle and it didn't happen over night. And it's always hard to find a sci-fi fantasy in today's age that doesn't have over the top love triangles and/or love at first...

Karin Carr: I have really, really, really enjoyed this series. Luckily I bought them all after they'd all been released so I didn't have to wait for the ending. About halfway through this one I started to feel like it was a bit anticlimactic. I admit, I was disappointed that it didn't seem to be wrapping up well. But the author tricked me! He wasn't even close to wrapping up, he was just getting started. It was just a bit predictable (yes, I saw that ending coming from a mile away, I'm afraid) but I was happy that's how it worked out. When it ended I felt like all my questions had been answered, all the story lines wrapped up nicely. I'm not happy that he's continuing the story in another series though! This is the first series where I absolutely HAD to keep getting the next book so I could find out what happens next. ;)

Kindle Customer: I am a huge fan of this series and I finished book 10 yesterday, i read it slow as i could as i didn't want Sienna, Wolfie, Reed, Scott and the other characters to leave my mind.. This series brings you in to the book, it envelopes around your very core, deeper and deeper as the book goes on and on... lots of twists an turns, lots of things you wish wouldn't happen, some did, i wanted to jump in the pages and kick butts with Sienna to help her do what she had to do. And boy did she kick butt it towards the end, wow it blew me away! You laugh with her and her witty comments, you cry with her when she cries or thing happening around her just make those tears fall, the emotions go up and down the scale you don't have time to breath!. So much detail packed in to book 10, the fights are so real, you just want to reach out and grab Sienna out of there, or give her a helping hand when needed. So many times i just wanted to hug her, especially near the end.
and what an ending to the series! well done Robert on an excellent series you've done yourself proud there!
I am looking forward to joining Sienna again in the follow on series Limitless: Out of the Box #1. she deserves a rest...

A British Bookworm: It’s no secret that I am a massive fan of Robert J. Crane’s work. Plus, he’s a funny guy (have you seen the interview I did with him earlier this year) AND he interacts with the fans. Personally. All whilst keeping up a frankly manic release schedule.
But all good things must come to an end. We’ve watched Sienna kick various meta ass, whilst also occasionally getting her ass handed right back to her on a plate. She has lost family, found family and then lost it again. She has voices in her head. No, really, actual voices – they haven’t so much been telling her what to do as….well, heckling. Oh, and she has to save the world from a homicidal megalomaniac with meta powers. Like, almost ALL the powers. With only a relatively small, tight knit band of support. Oh, and a non-meta (Agent Li) who doesn’t really like her much. Keeping up so far??
So, I approached this book with some trepidation. Would there be a “cop out” ending? Would this final book in the series stand up tall against the previous books??
Hell yes.
This book is a powerful, soaring conclusion to what I consider to be an absolutely epic series. It charges along like a...

N. S.: WARNING: Definite spoilers for 1-9. Hopefully nothing too spoiler-y for 10.
Firstly: SIENNA NEALON.
Girl, I am so proud of you. You're a grown-up now! I feel like Sienna has just had every opportunity to curl up and die. And even when she comes close and gets that way, something always snaps in her, and she can't bring herself to quit. And she just grows as a person, and is amazing, and ugh. Anyone who doesn't like what she's become, seriously, you must like your heroines with a side of "useless without a love interest".
I love how she's grown up, and I'm not even kidding; I got chills from seeing Sienna the way she was at the end, comparing it to what she was from the girl in the box. Seriously, if you're ever facing an existential crisis, just ask yourself: What would Sienna Nealon do? (Just remember, beating someone up is only *sometimes* a legally acceptable option. Like if you work out at an MMA school.)
Secondly: THE STORY ARC.
What a great ride! I re-read the previous books before I started, and I'm glad I did; there were things I'd completely forgotten about that came back; like the fact that Omega used to be full of baddies, til Sienna killed...

Lynda: I dreaded the day, book 10 made its appearance it meant no more Sienna, no more Reed, no more Wolfie what was I going to do without my favourite characters, but thankfully this book just brings the end to this set, and what an amazing ending, through out the series you kinda hope Sienna is going to come out on top, but Robert has a way off slipping in twists and turns in to his writing, never knowing who is going to be a good guy and who is going to be a crazed meta, with one goal in mind.
The fight scenes in this book were amazingly detailed, I found myself shouting encouragement for Sienna to kick ass, as if me willing her to get to the end is going to help her!!
Sienna is only 19 in this book but you feel like you have watched her grow up in the 10 books, the small amount of happiness Robert has let her have, he has also whipped away, I just want to give her a big hug and tell her the world is a nice place but of course that would kill me...
I also love the fact that Sienna's puns come back in this book with a vengeance, her smart mouth really does bring out a chuckle in this book.
There is so much I could write in this review but I hate reading reviews with...

purple moon: As a huge fan of this series, I've been eagerly waiting for this, the final instalment. I made a point of making sure I had a whole day to myself to get through it :)
It's a good end to the series and wraps up some of the loose ends leaving a few threads to carry over to Out of the box.
A fair portion of the book is very detailed fight scenes so although the book is quite long, the story isn't pulled out as much as you might expect. I was left chuckling at the inner monologue of Sienna, the main character a few times through those fight scenes though.
All in all an enjoyable read and an absolute must for Sienna fans.
For those who were thinking of finishing up with this series and not bothering with Out of the box...nah that's not going to happen. You, like me will be waiting on each instalment, I'm sure.

Amazon Customer: The ten part series built slowly, and from myriad directions and eras of time, keeping my full, sometimes tense attention. The characters were well defined and evolved relationally in reaction to events. Great entertainment, with plenty of moral dilemmas and provocation of thought.
