KBT: The razor lasted less than 2 years. The switch went intermittent and then stopped working. I can not recommend the product!

I did a lot of research and I kept coming back to this shaver with a name I had NEVER heard of?! ROAMAN?
I have owned Remington and Norelco over the years, and finally went back to shaving cream and razors for many years. Recently, I thought it would be nice to just grab an electric, shave and go about my day again, so that's when the search began. This shaver is Quiet, Comfortable to hold, gives an Impressive Quick shave and the battery is amazing. I have been shaving for 2 weeks and I am down to 80%?! The convenient lit percentage display of battery life right on the shaver is a plus, also. It pops right open to clean by blowing it out, rinsing it out or brushing it out, but whatever you choose it's easy to do. I would be happy with this razor at a higher price point, but honestly think it's the DEAL for this price!

kevin x: its good for both dry and wet shave. the battery hold good charge. after a week of normal use, it still has 85% power. the micro usb charging port is really what i want! because i have too many charging cables in the house. all different sizes, its really a pain . it costs only half of the big name shaver.. happy with the purchase.

I've had three different manufacturers of the same rotary style blade razor over many years. I've been pleased with each one, but as with battery charged items they get to a point where the battery no longer charges and it it time for a new one. The Roaman has several features to recommend it. The battery life meter seems to work well. I've had the razor for a few weeks now and the battery meter this morning after only one charge still reads 80 minutes remaining (battery life in my last razor was impressive for many years, this one is starting out similarly), It gives a good close shave, close as the others I've had. I haven't had to use it plugged in, but I believe this model can do that (my first rechargeable razor could, my last one could not). It can be used wet and the blades can be washed in the unit (my last razor could as well). So as you can see it combines some of the better features of the models I've had from other manufacturers in the past. This is the first one I've had with a battery meter, which I like that feature as a lithium battery does not give much warning before the energy gives out. Very pleased so far.

Comfortable, doesn't seem to pull long hairs too much. Managed to get it to mow through 1+ inch body hairs which I probably shouldn't use it for but I did.
It shaves nice and close to the skin, the groomer works really well. Almost as close as a razor shave - like.... very little difference.
My one complaint is it takes a couple passes in the same spots sometimes to get all the beard hairs, but you can push it pretty close to the skin without fear of nicks or burn so it's not bad. My first razor of this style and I'm pretty satisfied. Before I was using a simple detail trimmer for the job, which worked well enough but it was obviously time consuming and I didn't like the teeth poking my skin.
Cleans easy, isn't intimidating to open up and comes with a brush for cleaning it.
Mine came fully charged. I've used it about four times now and the battery isn't even halfway drained.

Update 11-27-2020: I liked it so much that I decided to order another one as a gift for my father, I noticed it had already been opened. Package was tape over the original plastic, to try to reclose it, and you can clearly see a cut on top of the box where the plastic was cut open.(see pictures) I dont feel like this is brand new and I paid full price... would you give this to a loved one? A "looks like refurbished" razor? 😒 Disappointed.
So far so perfect. Only have this for 2 weeks but Im satisfied woth its performance. Very close shave, dont pull hair even on a week beard (that was surprising to me!!!) Because of its very fast rotor. The fastest Ive seen on the market so far. Battery life is awesome, havent charged it yet since, and Ive been using it everyday for 2 weeks straight now, battery is still at 83% 😲😲 So easy to clean, flip a button, pass it under water, and boom, cleaned. Of course youll have to disassemble it sometimes to make a thorough clean and brish the blades and all, but even this is very easy to do. Follow insyructions, theyre very easy and clear. Ill update if anything happened but so far, so perfect!!! 👍🏼

My Philips / Norelco shaver I have had for 10+ years finally wore out. I paid about $50 at the time of purchase. It was rechargeable (had a light that would glow green when full and orange when low and could be used plugged in as well), a beard trimmer and could be cleaned under the faucet. A full charge would last about 1.5 weeks.
I saw the high prices for the same or similar shaver in the Norelco line and decided it was time to look outside that line. I had never heard of this brand or anything, but it was around $50, which was my max. I looked at the reviews and questions and decided to cross fingers and take a chance.
The only con I note is that they only give you a flimsy little bag to store the shaver in, whereas other makes provide a nice zipper case at least. I imagine that is why they cost more.
This shaver is actually better than my Norelco I had!
The blades are less expensive to replace.
It is much quieter than my old shaver.
Cleans the same way, can be used wet (although why you would want to is beyond me).
Can be used while plugged in, but the neat thing there is that you likely will never have to.
It charges in an...
