Philips Norelco OneBlade: Hybrid Electric Trimmer and Shaver for Men

Erik: When they say no friction on those blades, they mean it. I didn't think it was even shaving at first. With some shaving cream this works so great. I really didn't think it sounded as powerful as the original but it really does hold up. The battery life is exactly as expected, I get about 2 or 3 shaves out of it. Definitely waterproof, but the directions say to only rinse in cool water which I felt might be a problem in the future quickly when using it in a warm shower. But for the $ I am very impressed. The closeness of the shave was as good as a razor but without the razor burn!

Camden Torgesen: This razor makes shaving so simple, the ability to just wash it off in water the second there's too much hair on it is amazing, the included guards for the different length control is also amazing. This product comes with a cover for the razor portion and that is so convenient for when I travel as I never have to worry about the razor being damaged or the razor damaging other items.

William M. Shrader: I have been using Panasonic foil razors for many years and really like them. My son had the OneBlade and really liked it, so I gave it a try. I like how small and convenient it is. It is also affordable, compared to the higher end foil razors; but it doesn't cut as closely and leaves me feeling itchy. So, for regular use, I will stick to the Panasonic. But, this is convenient enough to warrant a place in my travel kit.

joel: I've had my same Philips circular blade razor for almost a decade (replacing the blades as needed along the way) and it was definitely kicking the bucket. The OneBlade style foil shaver caught my attention, especially with the option to have a guard on it. I couldn't be happier with the choice; the shave (in my experience) is worlds above the circular blade style electric razor.

One of the best parts that I didn't realize before buying it is how well it works if I haven't shaved for awhile and my facial hair has grown out a bit. With my old circular shaver I had to use a trimmer first (the built-ins on those razors suck so it needed to be a full extra trimmer) before using the blades. The OneBlade has a trimmer edge to the blade so it can take care of everything at once.

DJSDJS: I was excited about having a razor that does it all. I just wish I knew what was in store for me. Keep in mind, this could entirely be my fault, so I'm not judging and convicting here, just laying out what happened to me so I might save someone else from the same type of thing.

Using this razor for the first time was great. I loved how easy it was to use. The reason I got it was because a friend of mine purchased one.

The way I found out about it was during a business meeting one day, I noticed him running this thing along his cheek and I asked him what he was doing and what that thing was that looked like a razor. He said it was the Philips Norelco OneBlade hybrid electric trimmer and shaver and he was shaving with it because he didn't have time to shave before the meeting.

So I checked it out and it looked pretty innovative and I liked the concept of it. The next day I ordered one from Amazon and when I got it, I went picked it up to try it out and accidentally dropped it in the bathroom sink.
