Peter J. Schulte: I set a timer for one minute and got a good enough shave. Maybe I will need to do this twice in 24 hours. It's still so much quicker than a shave with a razor.

Of course it is not perfectly close. Maybe it's not especially comfortable, but I have no complaint. Comfort is spreading lotion on your face.

I've been through three or four charging cycles, which means that I've been using it for six or eight weeks at least! The charge lasts for days and days.

As for traveling, I actually throw it in my office bag and use it at work during the week. Saves time at home. It ravels well!

The trimmer seems ineffective. I don't really care. If I did, I would grab a Harry's razor off the shelf and use that trimmer. What a waste of time that would be. The Remington shaves close enough under the nose without using the trimmer.

I like it so much that I bought a replacement blade head in advance after using it for a few weeks.

Andrew Lipchak: This is the best shaver I've ever owned and even nicer because it was low priced. A hours worth of shaving, charges in a hour, quiet , comfortable, attractive and a very close shave. Why would anyone spend a couple hundred bucks?

James Reuter: I've had this product for about 2 days now and I've been happy with the results. Just make sure you use small circular motions and pull at your skin and the shave should be great. It also came fully charged which was nice. I wouldn't say that cleaning it is super easy and there did seem to be a lot of hairs trapped in it after 3 uses but nothing that's that bad. Overall I recommend, especially compared to some of the other electric razors I've used.

Donald Norman: When I was in my 20's my dad gave me his old Remington foil razor. It worked great for years. By the time it needed new blades they weren't available anymore. I recently bought the Remington F5-5800 Foil Shaver, Men's Electric Razor, Electric Shaver and it doesn't cut as close as the old one used to. It could be the 20 years I went with a regular blade got me spoiled. Anyway I'd still recommend it because I never cut myself and I'm retired and don't worry about a close shave.

JMAG: Just like some others here, I didn’t have high expectations but this device turned out to be awesome. I hate shaving just cause it’s an extra chore but with this it makes shaving fast and easy. Shaves close just like a regular razor blade. Like seriously. You can’t tell the difference. And with this, you don’t get razor bumps anymore, no more playing with water and shaving cream anymore. There’s so many electric shavers out there but this was reasonably priced. Glad I bought this because it does the job and I doubt the $200 ones can be that much better. I will never shave the old fashioned way with a razor blade ever again.

David W. Wilma: My old, 25 years, microscreen Remington had a part fail and the trimmer was just old. I wanted to treat myself to the newest technology. The first one was a bust with a cutting head that would not attach and I returned it.

The replacement arrived yesterday and it's a real treat to use. Instead of three cutting heads and screens there are just two, but in the middle is a pair of trimmer heads and these have made all the difference. I was used to having to use a safety razor to go after those long hairs missed by the micro screen. That seems to be solved now and this baby gets them all. I'm not a very good Remington customer buying a new shaver once every 25 years, but I can encourage others to give this model a try.
