Julius Debuschewitz: Is how I would describe the shaving experience with this shaver. Only a shave with foam and blade beats the result, and that takes longer, leaves me with razor bumps and ingrown whiskers and the off cut.
Prior to this purchase, I used the Braun Model 3 for years, and it was not nearly as comfortable and efficient. I highly recommend the Braun Series 7 790cc-4 Electric Foil Shaver for Men with Clean and Charge Station.

Seath (Seth) Dvorkon: I purchased this shaver for my father. He is usually quite adamant and fussy about the quality of his gifts, but has been quite pleased with his shaver. I would recommend this shaver for all who have been having difficulty finding a comfortable, reliable shaver for a decent shave.

Chris B: It is a great shaver but I rated 3 stars because I ordered a "new" braun series 7 790cc and it cost $322. The one I received had clearly been opened and had a few hairs on the razor and the manual was oil stained. The box was damaged as well, maybe from shipping but I don't mind that. I'm just a bit surprised it was not market "used" or "open box" and sold at a slightly reduced price. I tried to contact the seller several days ago and have not had a response, which is also why 3 stars.

Crit +5: I have to write a lot to explain what my experiences had been, and how they contrast to how this razor has changed my routine. Please bear with me.
--- Previous Experiences
I have sensitive skin and I have always had difficulty managing my facial grooming and skin care. Previously I used a rotary electric razor, but it caused a lot of skin irritation. I moved on to using shaving gel and Gillette triple blade Mach3, and later Mach3 Turbo, cartridges. I finally settled on using a double edge razor to start, and then the Mach3 Turbo to clean up. Afterwards I would always use a sensitive skin aftershave. While I could mostly manage skin irritation, careful to avoid nicks and cuts, I would only be able to shave with a DE razor/cartridge routine every other or every three days. My sensitive skin could not handle daily frequency - but I still wanted a cleaner daily routine.
I tried the Gillette Skin Guard razor in my routine. It was fantastic. But the cartridges were expensive, and would be used up in a week. This got me thinking about electric razors again, due to the potential skin guard.

Thomas M. Stevens: Ok, for anyone skeptical about this razor, I can't think of a better story than mine. Three years ago, I bought a Braun razor - I believe it was a series 8000 or something like that. It used the Clean & Renew system like this one. That was the best razor. Then this past July when traveling, I lost my razor. I suffer from an acute case of seborrheic dermatitis which makes me break out for nearly ANY or NO reason including if the air goes from hot to cold too fast. My case got really harsh in my mid-30's and I could no longer use a blade razor. I had tried Norelco and all the others to no avail and then I came across that foil razor. It was amazing. So, to have lost it, I was in deep trouble to say the least. I researched and researched and even looked around for the same model on other sites because there just couldn't be a better razor than that one. I found a couple but they were used and I can't stomach the idea of using a razor that someone else has used.
