pi86FR: This shaver is ideal for my usage.
I keep my head bold and shave my beard everyday; often twice daily.
It provides the closest shave of any shaver I have owned.
It's very aggressive cutting hair.
I like the stand a lot.
This shaver is very easy to clean.
I use Andis Cool Care Plus Clipper Blade Cleaner.
Simple.

The only negative is that irritates my skin.
If I don't sweat, that's no problem.
But if I sweat, at work for example, it's uncomfortable.

I have owned Philips Norelco, Remington, Braun, and other shavers.
Andis shavers are superior to those.
Andis shavers excel at getting a very close shave when your beard is very short.

Regardless, my favorite shaver is the Braun Series 5. I've had it for years. That thing lasts forever always providing a superior shave; albeit, not as close as that of the Andis shavers. And it doesn't irritate my skin.

I'm just trying to communicate that I like this Andis shaver, even though it isn't my favorite.

Steven: This is the absolute best foil shaver. The Andis foil shavers were highly recommended by grooming professionals in the reviews. So I ordered the Lithium Pro for the battery life. I was amazed that this foil shaver can give you a close shave like that of a razor! It is an aggressive shaver, you don't want to push down on it into your skin because you will get a burn for sure. I just keep gliding the shaver over my skin, while feeling for stubble with my other hand and I can get it down smooth. I shave my head with it also. It works best if you don't let your stubble get too long, I use it practically every day, not more than 2 days. I am so impressed with this shaver, I've ordered a second one. This is the only shaver that shaved my head down smooth. I have another popular rotary blade head shaver that when I was through, my head still felt like sandpaper. I can honestly recommend the Andis Titanium foil Pro lithium battery shaver. Let the shaver do the work, don't force and you won't burn your skin.

Matt: I typically shave my beard in the spring and go clean shaven until next winter. Decided to order the Andis for an upgrade over a fifteen year old norelco. Here’s my review of the unit for face shaving after about a month of use.

This is definitely the closest to a wet razor shave that I’ve ever gotten out of an electric. Super smooth and close. As some others have mentioned, a light touch and multiple passes are needed here to shave without scraping your skin too much.

Cheeks and neck are really easy to shave with this unit but it isn’t quite as good as a rotary shaver at the “nooks and crannies.” Also, for me the mustache area is tricky with this. I have to make probably 20 light passes with the top foil in order to “grind down” my pretty tough moustache stubble.

So it is not a super-fast shave like a lot of mid range electric shavers, but hard to get much closer. And much easier than wet shaving too.

My beard grows in pretty fast, I have to shave every day, as this shaver definite starts to pull and irritate the skin if I go more than a day. Haven’t tried aftershave or anything for this yet.

The dock is a nice feature...

Ta2GuyTa2Guy: I am an old bearded guy with who still has a pretty full head of coarse hair. I have been shaving my scalp for over 11 years and am of the opinion that most men shave the wrong part of their head hair, that is they shave their beard and let their scalp hair grow! I love a beard and I also love tattoos. I shaved my scalp so I could tattoo it!
I was a long-term blade shaver, using cartridges and more recently tried DE blades because I began having problems with some bad pores on my scalp, most always in the same places, that became irritated and would never heal because of frequent shaving. But I was not willing to quit being Bald By Choice. I tried practically every type of blade and shaver I could find but nothing made much of a difference. I had gotten the best shaves from DE blades but the nicks and irritation were the worst. It took quite a while to shave with it, but I got some relief from using a Braun 790cc (ONLY $200 on Amazon!) double head foil shaver, but it took awhile to get what looked (but did not feel) like a good shave.
I wore out two heads on the Braun and was about to get another replacement head (ONLY $35 ouch! on Amazon) when a fellow BBC friend suggested...
