Dale H.: By far my favorite shaver. I have tried many different brands and styles. The foils are a little delicate, but that's why they shave so close. Make sure you replace the foils every couple of months before they break. If the foil breaks it will scratch you.

Amazon Customer: My old Remington F5790 foil shaver finally broke after 6 years of use, due to it being tossed around in check in luggage. This one is half the price and does the same great job. The only problem is that, it does show charging light, but there is no battery meter to see how full the charge is. Also note, the power adapter only charges the battery, and its does not power the shaver directly while it's plugged in.

Kurt Steinbach: I like this shaver. It is easy and convenient to hold and use, in either hand. I teach online with a webcam, so I must be clean shaven everyday, and i was tired of my face feeling cut up after I shaved, even with a triple blade razor. With this, I can shave before going to sleep or in the evening, and I'm still good to go for my classes the next morning. I can shave with it plugged in or unplugged because the cord is long enough, and it is so good, I can shave in 5-10 minutes easy. I clean up daily by blowing out the screen and the microheads beneath, and a few times a week, I also run it quickly under the faucet and shake dry. Then I turn it on upside down to run and shake off the water. By the time I get back from the bathroom, I turn it off and pat and then let it air dry. Easy and convenient to use. The best I've had in a long time.

Mr. K: I don't like shaving so I shave maybe twice a week. Previously, I owned a Braun 3612 which for the price did an excellent job in my opinion. Unfortunately, it got to it's end-of-life after almost a decade with little maintenance and upkeep. I bought the Remington F3 as a replacement because it was about the same price as my Braun. To me, there's absolutely no reason to spend close to $100 on a shaver when you don't shave that much.
The F3 keeps its charge pretty well. It fits in the hand ok. It is a little on the louder side. The power button feels like very cheap plastic so I wonder how durable it is.
I have to do several passes to get a decent shave. I wouldn't say it's a close shave by any measure, but it does what I need it to do. It also tends to leave a few hairs almost untouched. I don't know for sure, but I think it can only be used as a dry shaver.
I don't think any electric shaver can do as good a job as a manual razor. However, I was looking for something that was quicker than shaving with a razor but not expensive. In that sense, the F3 met my expectations. Would I recommend it? Unless your needs are similar to mine, then not really. You're better...
