Saeid Badeghat: I bought one of these and just after one monte, I understand that my shaver doesn't work as well. It does not shave my face clearly and its buttery needs to recharge very soon. I used to shave my face by Philips shaver for more than 20 years and test many deferent types of those but, I can say it was the worst.

George F. McDowell: I've owned plenty of electric shavers and this is a great one for the price. Nice battery life between charges and you can shave wet or dry. Performs as good or better than other shavers costing twice as much. This is a follow up on this shaver. It's now been in use for over two years and it has performed flawlessly. I have yet to replace the heads and I shave daily with it. The charge still lasts longer than any shaver I've ever used.

Victor Roman: I used to have a problem with ingrown hairs when I used safety and electric razors. The only thing that provided some relief was the depilatory creams from Magic and Royal Crown. These creams were effective, but I hated the smell, and they caused that portion of my face to become darker in shade. I went to see a dermatologist, and he told me to stop using the creams and get an electric razor. I asked him which one was the best, and he said that it didn't matter which one. So I tried many different brands. Remington had a razor that specifically targeted those with ingrown hairs, and I used it for a few years until they discontinued making it. I thought it was effective, but I still occasionally had a few ingrown hairs. I then found this Norelco razor. It is specifically designed for ingrown hairs. I've been using it for years, and have found that it is more effective than any previous razor I've used. I always use it when my face is dry, never wet. I don't use a pre-shave lotion. I usually wash my face afterwards with warm water, rinse it with cold water, and apply a mild astringent like witch hazel. I no longer have an ingrown hair problem and my face is now even-toned. Every six...

Calvin C. Williams: Gives me a great shave, though I've come to realize that it's not really the shaver that I need for my particular hair type. Works wonderfully, gives a close, smooth shave. I may pass mine on to a friend that would be able to get good use out of it. Very quality shaver!

Gihan Jay: I have always used a razor but due to the price increase and constant model changes, that eventually will force you to buy the available model and blade type, I settled in to buying an electric razor.

After researching and narrowing the model down, I finally decided to purchase the AT790 razor from Norelco. At first glance, it looked like an ordinary electric razor yet I followed the manufactures instructions and started to use it for the duration of time recommended by the company.

At first use, I did have razor burns and some hair under my neck. Feeling let down but determined to succeed, I used the shaver daily. As the days rolled to weeks, soon the 3 week test cycle period came. The burning under the chin and neck had gone completely and I have mastered to art of shaving.

The first days, I tried to use the shaving gel, which I had used with my blade razor. The cut was extremely close and perfect. Then the second week I used the razor with out any gel foam. Just a dry shave. That worked, well better than the foam based shave. No idea how that can be but it does feel better in my opinion. The third week, I used soap to wash my face, towel dried the face and...

Kerry Mitchell: I intentionally waited several months before writing this review.
My first Norelco shaver was purchased 35 years ago. Using a blade, regardless of brand and shaving technique, was never good. Even being shaved by professionals, my face would be a mess within 24 - 36 hours, and then impossible to shave until it cleared up, which could take up to a week. Of all the electric shavers I have tried over the years, I always found Norelco to be the least of the evils. If I was careful to not apply too much pressure and only shaved when my face was perfectly clean and very dry, I could achieve a half decent result without butchering my skin, but I could never shave every day. My face always needed a day or two or three to recuperate.
When my last shaver gave up the ghost after 12 years of reasonably good service, I researched very thoroughly before settling on this model. I was apprehensive about it but vowed to give it a fair chance. The results completely amazed me. I was getting a great shave without any destruction to my skin. I started slowly and carefully and used it only 2 times the first week. Then 3 times the next. I still don't shave every day, but usually 3 to 4 times per...
