Philips Norelco 3500 Electric Shaver - Smooth Skin with ComfortCut Blades

Alex: I bought this model to replace one I'd used before that had lasted me many years but started to get dull. I was happy with that previous model, and this one is basically the same though different color and materials maybe, but pretty close. So far it's working just like the old one and I expect it will last for a long time, as Phillips products always do. It's very comfortable to use, and has the nice flip out sideburns trimmer, way better that it's flip out versus other models that have it as an extra part.

Robert Tonkavich: I have used Norelco Electric Shavers for most of my life. They last a long time, are "Well" Made, affordable, and keep giving great shave after great shave. I have been using this shaver now for more that a month and find the battery life to be fantastic. Long Lasting. And recharges quickly. The shaver fits very comfortably in your hands, mine are small, and I find holding the shaver to be very easy. I have been getting a Great Close Shave Every Morning, and sometimes again if I am going out for the evening. Best of all, I do not have to worry about "Why Razor Blades" keep escalating in Price upwards, or for that matter do I have enough Shaving Cream. Hmmm, a one time cost that works for years. Yeppers....

Ilya Shaikouski: I used electric shavers last time about 5 years back and I decided to try again.

I was really impressed with the progress made in the field. This shaver makes my shave:

a) Fast! I don't really need to move around same spot dozens times as using the older ones. Just few moves are enough to make it clean.
b) Clean - can't complain about the shaver leaving anything behind at all.
c) Hassle-free. Don't need to use trimmer even on week old beard - can just start shaving as usual and it handles it well without tearing or anything like it.. And finally - few seconds second shaver cleaning procedure is just the best.
d) Gentle. I used to feel the skin really burning under the after-shave using traditional blade. Almost don't feel it at all with this one.

I use it mostly with the shaving cream which makes it much more comfortable and clean one.

One cons that I can't skip though. And that is probably directly related to d) point above. It cuts noticeably less deep. So while it is ideal day one - it needs to be done semi-daily for me now because everything grows back noticeably faster. Before I could have it twice a week with same effect.

Liam Theis: I went from the cheapest Norelco to this one.

Works fantastically including the waterproofing. I use this in the shower and have yet to find a problem with it's water security. Shaves much better and at what feels like a higher RPM than my previous shaver. The clipper in combination with the shaver easily clears my face off with little issues besides angling my hand for the trimmer. The charge lasts me about four throughout shaves or several more just touch ups. Hair will get stuck deeper in the shaver that are annoying to get out, but with a brush or paper towel, you can.

Pros: Shaves quickly and comfortably, Waterproof, Charges quickly and stays charged for a while

Cons: A little pricey depending on your situation, hairs get stuck easily in it, hard to clean, occasional razor burn

Gus: I am having my right shoulder replaced shortly and found I could not shave using a blade with my left hand without cutting myself a lot. I had a electric shaver long ago that didn't shave well and produced considerable raze burn. Decided to try this unit and began using it with my left hand about a week ago. I am impressed! It shaves almost as close as my razor with only a couple passes. I shave dry with it and have not experienced any razor burn. I recharge it after I use it and it takes only a few minutes to recharge fully after a shave. I suspect it will go a long time before it would need to be recharged. The cutting head opens easily and cleans completely with a hot water rinse.

2/3/17 update: Still working fine. Holds a charge for a long time! Very good electric shaver!
