hikenfish: I purchased with the intention of using it for a touch up razor when traveling when I didn't want to go to the trouble of shaving with a blade again. It is a tiny razor which fits in my travel kit just fine and I am impressed with the shave results. I was looking for a battery operated (not rechargeable) razor. For what I wanted this razor is better than I expected.

XP+VC6: 欠点は、小さくて軽いため手に伝わる振動が大きいこと、1枚刃のためくせ毛などの剃り残しがることでしょうか。鼻の下やもみあげなどもきちんと剃れますし、二次電池が使えて軽く1ヶ月以上保つこと、小さくて場所を取らないことなど、長所の方が勝ります。

Dr Cato: So good that I bought a second. Very close shave and quick. It will not cut longer hairs so you have to have short stubble which is the only drawback. Small for travel, made in Japan which is great.

Major [DJTR]: I have always used electric razors instead of blades because of my dad’s love of Norelco shavers way back in the day. It doesn’t make sense that I use electric razors vs. sharp steel disposable razors even in my mind. I don’t waste time with traditional things that don’t need changing. This is like a cool 1970’s razor in a cool movie. Panasonic is a highly revered name for me due to the dominance of many new products and the trust that comes with this incredible company. I got this little razor that is battery powered and far from my expensive rotating machine that I use for my base. But this is a great little razor. Not just esoterically; but as a high powered very portable and very good shaving machine that it is….
If you need a little help with keeping your face looking sharp and smooth while at the office or just the other room; try this puppy out. I have not done anything but clean the simple razor and no battery changes after intermittent use that still reveals the quality design and function of this super cool James Bond type razor that for some reason comes to mind. Try it and you will get it!

MCT: My husband had the exact same razor till it was lost. Found this replacement for him and it wouldn’t switch on properly. So ordered a replacement from same vendor that was much better. No problem with the exchange except for the inconvenience. He loves the compactness for storage and it shaves well. He has a heavy beard with a 5 o’clock shadow and he loves this little shaver. Also got him a case that holds all the implements.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Altho I've only been using it for ~10 days this is hugely better than the Braun M-90 shaver I've been using for over 10 years.
I've used the Braun M-90 with a 3.7V lithium ion rechargeable battery along with a dummy cell so it's been 'over driven' all that time without any issues. Normal total voltage with standard AA cells is 3.0V. The over voltage provides a significant improvement in performance compared with using two standard AA cells. Along with a slight weight savings. But I've been unhappy with the shave provided. It missed hairs in areas where they grew flat so I had to periodically follow up with a safety razor.
Because of this I went thru a period when I tested quite a few stupid expensive electric shavers but since NONE of them provided any better of a shave (along with being bulky) I returned to the Braun M-90.
But lately I've also been having an issue with the Braun M-90 foils wearing quite quickly - usually within 4 months - when they're supposed to be good for ~1 year. And, no, they weren't counterfeit because I would buy the Braun M-60 shaver just for the foil & cutter specifically to avoid the issue with counterfeits or inferior...
