I used a regular trimmer all this while and at occasion I would miss a line or two. I was impressed with closeness shave it gives. To be honest nothibg gers close to a wet blade shave. This on the other hand is closest to one. I do a wet blade shave once a week and use this in between to keep it clean shaved. I am impressed with its economic design and ease of use.

Esse produto é fenomenal! Não existe nada parecido com ele no Brasil. Comprei o Palm da Skull Shaver pois fiz uma cirurgia recentemente e fiquei com uma cicatriz na cabeça. Não me sentia seguro em utilizar lâminas convencionais ou outro tipo de barbeador. Com o Palm posso manter a cabeça raspada com praticidade e segurança.

I bought this razor with much skepticism for the reason that I have tried electric razors many times and many brands of various $ ranges in the past and have never liked the results or at times the irritation to my skin. I never liked shaving but it was necessary because I dislike facial hair and what little hair I had left on top even more, so expensive razors and shave cream it was. Since then a medical issue which affects my hand strength and grip along with now taking blood thinners the razor method of shaving became very problematic. Since my purchase of this Pitbull Razor I am so happy with it's results. It cuts my head and facial hair extremely well and is very easy to hold and grip. It moves great across the surface of my skin and is very easy to clean and maintain. No skin irritation at all.

Had the Skull shaver for a year and for what its price, its unbeatable. Recently i was in Vegas and I used it 3 times during my stay when the LED light indicating it was on (green) was faint and wouldnt shut off when depressing the power button. I figured it was just a fluke and something was blocking the power button so i let it run all the way out. There was still enough power in it so it ran all through the night. Very next morning i charged for a couple of hours and light indicator showed green. I hit the power button and nothing.... i'll most likely grab another just for its price range. its reliable to a point but when it goes out, i hope you have a back up! lol!
Long story short, for $40+ its not a bad shaver - and let me remind you, its not the actual "Skull" shaver brand - this is the Palm shaver that shaves "skulls". lol. Probably from China or something so the title is misleading.

Product is incredibly light and ergonomic to use. This makes for a very comfortable and tire-free experience while shaving. Having said that, it's light to the point of feeling really really cheap in the hand.... Even before opening the box I was amazed at how light everything was BEFORE handling the device.
I've taken it to task three times and what I've found is that its performance is fairly mediocre. You'll never be smooth, regardless of shaving wet or dry. No matter how long you spend circling and re-circling and re-re-circling the same parts of your head. There is always that coarse 1.5 day stubble feeling left that you'll need to chase over with a good blade if you want a truly smooth dome. Sort of defeats the purpose as it isn't an all in one solution (for me). Using it first does help reduce razor burn though since it reduces my dependency on a blade for the full shave, that's good I guess.
The battery seems adequate, I've charged it once in three shaves, not bad in my book. A battery indicator would have been nice though.
