T.M.Riz: I bought this unit about two years ago, and it works great, shaves great, cleans itself, charges no problem. The only issue I had was with the trimmer on the back side; once that breaks - and it's held together with fragile little plastic pieces - then the unit doesn't sit in the base properly, and therefore, doesn't clean or charge quite the same. I liked it enough to buy it again - and the cleaning cartridges are still the same.

mark l donald: Great Shave - I have thick facial hair and used to go through electric razors pretty quickly until switching to the Braun self-cleaning series of razors but this provides a close, comfortable shave. Reliable Product - This my 2nd one in 10yrs but not because the last razor wasn't working, just the self-cleaner and charger broke. Now I use it as my travel razor and clean it with the brush verses the auto-wash. My only complaint is the cost of the cleaning cartridges but still worth the cost. Highly recommend this product.

David: When I first started to shave, it was with a much older version of a Braun or Philips Norelco - it's been so long since I had an electric razor that I forgot which - but I didn't forget how easy it was to maintain.
Since then over the years I've used mostly manual razors like the Mach 3, and briefly Dollar Shave Club trying to cut costs. With a poor quality or dull razor, it's way too easy to irritate my neck. For a while, I even tried a shavette razor.
It's difficult to balance speed with a close shave. As a student, deprived on sleep, my mantra was to shave within every 3 days or so - but I wanted to be able to do something quick enough and cheap enough that I could shave every morning without taking the time to wet shave.
What brought me to the Series 3 was the style, price point (both of the razor itself and the cost of replacement heads), and that this version comes with a charging/cleaning base. When I first started using it, I didn't get very great shaves because my skin was not used to electric and my technique was sub-par. Second week forward, I get great, consistent shaves. This does not get as close on my neck as the razors did, which leaves only a...

Michael: This is superior to my last Remington. I've had it about two weeks. It looks to be of quality, fits nicely in my hand and I've found it to be comfortable, fairly close shave.
I'm not a big guy (5-7, 170 with average-sized hands) and this feels almost small in my hands. No big deal but if you're a guy with big hands this might feel tiny.
I love how it's a quiet shave (my Remington was loud), it's very comfortable (no razor burn) and it cuts reasonably close. Not perfect smoothness but at the end of the day, my beard isn't incredibly bad either. Hard to explain.
I take off the head of the shaver and rinse it and tap out the whiskers.I was surprised to learn the cutter is attached in the screen, it's not on the body of the razor. I then brush the top of the body of the razor with the brush, let the screen dry and re-attach.
Once or twice a week I clean it with the cleaning station. Set it in, click the button on top of the system by the bottom of the razor and it first creates this whirring sound for a couple of minutes to clean, stops and then it quietly cleans for 4 hours.
If it doesn't break down and keeps cutting well and lasts me 5 - 7 years...

joe hwang: Great electric shaver. This works great and the battery life is very long lasting. I bought this in 2017 and it's now 2023...and it is still going strong. Cleaning is very easy and the solution for the cleaning is relatively cheap. The shave is very close and clean. Only drawback is if your stache is a bit on the longer side, at times will pull which can cause a little pain. Still, it's the best electric shaver I have ever bought..and the longest lasting (6 years and still going strong).
