Laney: I purchased this shower seat so I could shower after having a total hip replacement. I measured the tub floor space and read the specs to make sure the seat would fit. It does. It was easy to assemble with the instructions. It is a comfortable and stable seat. I recommend this seat to anyone who needs one. Believe me, that first shower after surgery will be almost fun!

MRH: Very solid sturdy chair. Fits inside a standard bath tub. Directions are simple and straightforward. It took me maybe 5 minutes to put the chair together. All the wingnuts supplied except 4 are longer and easily noticeable from the rest. The longer ones are for the bottom. The four shorter ones are for the back rest. Both of the legs marked 1 & 2 are grooved, and placed on the bottom of the seat first crossways. No bolts are required. Assembly is quite easy. The side handles just slide into place in the slots alongside the slots on the legs. Likewise both the legs and arms, have a push in button that allows you to slide and lock the legs (arms) into position. With the legs, it allows you to adjust the legs to the correct height for the person using the chair. The arms have one height. This is a very sturdy chair. The seat is hard, and made of a thick molded plastic. After looking at quite a few bath chairs, I chose this. One was price point. The other was reviews. I feel I made a good decision. Especially since it's for my mom. Because so far, it works perfect and my mom loves it.
