N C: Bought this for my mother-in-law. It was easy to put together and feel very sturdy. The adjustable legs are nice to get it to the height best for her. It can assemble with or without the back support.

Laura: I bought this prior to hip replacement surgery. I think it will be just what I need.
It was pretty easy to assemble (I'm not the best at such things but I did it).
It fits in my little shower stall so that's what I was most concerned about.
It is relatively comfortable. The plastic doesn't feel great on bare skin but I'm not sure what can be done about that. Hopefully I'll only need it for a couple of weeks.
It seems sturdy enough but I guess I'll find out.

Hamstrung: If you can follow well written directions, it goes together easily. The chair is sturdy and meets normal bathing requirements. It does take up some space in your tub, but you must accept this considering your physical needs.

dsmith: I used this chair for getting dressed after hip replacement surgery. It is light and easy to move. It has hand rests to aid in sitting and standing. Easily adjustable height for sitting comfort.
It is also useful for doing in-home physical therapy sitting stretching exercises with visiting therapist.
Assembly of the legs/back rest, while cleverly done for stability and ease of manufacture, one has to pay very close attention to the instructions and realize that the illustrations show relations of labels after the chair is assembled. This is the reason for the 4-star rating. No tools are required. Well packaged.
I ordered a second one. Assembly was very quick after assembling the first one.
