Robin: This is a quality product. I use it to sit while I shower it makes it easier to shave my legs and I don't have to worry about falling. It was fairly easy to assemble, the two screws that go it the middle take some patience. I just wipe it down with a wash cloth when I'm done to avoid water spots. It's very beautiful to look at and very sturdy as well. I highly recommend this product.

Simply.mrs.zSimply.mrs.z: We moved into a rental with a tiled phone booth for a shower. I bought this stool to sit in the hot water when I don’t feel well. I bought it so I could shave my legs. I bought it because it is beautiful, well made, and gives our plain, builder-grade shower a facelift.

Honestly, this stool is constructed so well. It’s a simple four-piece assembly. It was packaged and presented well, so it would make a proper gift. I like the adjustable rubber feet as well. Even if in a future housing situation (military family) we have a shower it wouldn’t work in, it would be beautiful by the front door or with a plant on top.

Christopher Anthony Lloyd: The shower bench came well packed and the contents individually wrapped for extra security. The bench was extremely easy to be assembled with good quality screws and an Allen key which was strong enough to get a good purchase when tightening the screws. There are adjustable feet so if your shower has different areas for the water to drain away, the feet can be adjusted to sit flat and not wobble. When assembled, the bench is a little heavy but that also gives you confidence to sit on it,

Ed: This teak bench was very easy to assemble. It is a solid wood, heavy bench, very sturdy. Love the style, looks classy and expensive. The seat is comfortable and does not take up too much space. This will easily last for years.

S L RobinsonS L Robinson: Wow, I am so pleased with this item. First tucking away the old white/silver medical seat that was too large to set in a tub sideways, was a bit wobbly, and looking at it reminds you of the hospital...
This new AquaTeak is absolutely perfect fit with height adjustable feet, gorgeous teak wood (and we bought the oil to try as well) is so beautiful. The design let's you move it in any direction to fit small to large tubs/showers, and can hold weight perfectly with absolutely zero wobbling.
We feel so sturdy and safe on this. Anyone who has a medical need to sit, or just to make your bathroom look like a spa...I recommend this to everyone and I have family that will be getting this for Christmas! t-dubt-dub: Due to arthritis pain I decided a shower bench would be a good idea so I ordered this one from Aqua Teak and I am so glad I did. This bench is absolutely beautiful, functional, sturdy, comfortable and I am completely thrilled with it. It was really easy to assemble and I did get the Aqua Teak oil and treated all of the pieces before assembling them, even though it was probably not necessary, but the teak oil smells wonderful and water is beading up and rolling off the bench nicely. This bench is fantastic, I love it, and I am now an Aqua Teak customer for life.

Amazon Customer: I wanted a sturdy, stylish seat for large walk-in shower whilst recovering from knee surgery but definitely didn't want it to scream 'mobility aid for the older person'! This seat is stunning and makes the shower look like a fancy spa. Very simple to put together, very sturdy with adjustable, rubber feet so no wobbles or slipping even when wet. Even when I am recovered, this seat is staying put. Expensive, yes, but well worth the investment.

Carrick: I hesitated but now it has arrived, I have no regrets. Even the box and packing are as superior to normal boxes, as the stool is to other stools (thick solid cardboard, interior foam molding and box side adhesive cushions; rattle free). This really stands out.

It comes disassembled but the 6 long hex screws are easy to fit with the provided alan key, though I had a longer one of my own to speed things up even more. It is very stable and has reassuring 'heft' and finish. The fittings, overall thickness and density, are as you'd exect at this price point. I'd think an annual teakoiling will be sensible but it needs nothing the first year.

This is a very substantial, solid teak, curved-not-molded elegant seat, water resistant, suitable for shower rooms (useful to clean your feet, shower safely or sit and dry your hair). It's easy to lift but heavy at 8kg (17.5 lbs). The 4 heavy duty rubber feet are +/- 10mm height adjustable.

An investment that will last. It shows its quality at a glance. It'll suit a (larger) shower, wet room or even a muddy porch. You should consider the space availble carefully: The 300x450mm (12x18") seat takes more space that you might...
