Victorian Zhang: I bought the heater and didn't use it for a month so its too late to get a refund but DO NOT BUY THIS HEATER. I never thought I would run into any issues with such a simple heater but it no longer regulates the temperature and i didn't realise and my fish was suffering cold temperatures for ages.

Lara Cuffena: This is my third, wait, fourth betta tank heater and it's working great so far... Several months. One of my older ones, different brand/style didn't seem to have enough power and one actually stopped working after a couple years.
So I like to keep two in the tank all the time just in case. One other model I tried has loose suction and floats around. This one's shape is rectangular and it snaps nicely onto its suction cup and stays put. It's easy to see the color showing whether it's heating or not, and I like that it came with a temperature reading strip for accuracy. Very happy with this one.

Amazon Customer: I really wanted this heater to work well since it fits so perfectly in my betta tank, but after about a week of having it in there, it just stopped heating and the water returned to room temp (no betta in the tank yet, so no deaths resulted for those wondering). Since I got this a couple months ago and just now set up the tank, I can no longer return it so I may see if I can get it working again before I have to go find a different one at my local pet store. Otherwise, nice size and suction on this heater I just wish mine worked a little more consistently.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This is heating my tank to right around 82 degrees! I have a five gallon tank and I’m waiting for the conditioner to work into the water and the water to heat up to it’s final temp before I add any fish! The sticker works great and the light turns off before it gets too warm. Still waiting to see if it heats up too much as it’s been in for around a day now! So far so good!

Tiffany Ruiz: I previously had the Aqueon mini 10w heater in my 2.5 gallon aquarium but I decided to order this since the other one had terrible reviews. Everything was going fine and the temperature seemed just right my little betta was so happy. I happened to run to the store for 15 minutes and when I came back I realized that I couldn’t find my fish. I looked everywhere and I’m not sure if it’s because of my placement of the heater or the heater itself but my fish was dead. I happened to put the heater in the corner of the tan leaving a small crack where the crevice of the tank is. I found my fish pressed up against the heater and the crack stuck there and when I moved the heater he fell down. I’m not sure if he got stuck and the heater was too hot or if he got stuck and his gills were squished so he couldn’t breathe but either way he is gone. I don’t want to blame the heater but I do think the placement is very important and wish someone would’ve said something about it before I put it in the corner of
My tank. I plan on getting a new betta and leaving the heater suctioned in the middle of the wall and hope to have better results
