I bought this for my German Blue Ram breeding tanks. It keeps my temperatures at around 84 consistently. My Rams are breeding. I use it for a 10G tank. I haven't checked it to see how often it needs to run to keep the temperatures, but I will throw a killawatt on it and update the review. I haven't had any issues with it since I bought it a few months ago. I have had the bigger version of this for about a year and it still works really well. I would trust this over some of the other heaters I have bought in the past.
The only issue I have with it is that it can be a bit cumbersome. The suction cups do not hold very long so you will need to find a place to sit it. The cables don't have much play in them, which is probably more of a pro than a con but makes it hard to maneuver.
