Samantha: The media could not be loaded.  Nice to see the temperature on a gauge. This heater is quite large, So unless you have a bigger tank you don't necessarily need this size. I have that set up in my 20 gallon right now and it's overkill, I will eventually move it to my 70 gal when I get that set up However.

Ryan: First off the heaters are pretty big, so keep that in mind. I ordered 2 of the 500 watt for my 125 gallon tank. The suction cups are very strong. The controllers are nice and easy to use/mount. They hold temp very well.
I have a digital temp probe in a different spot in the tank and it reads 1-1.5 degrees F higher that the controllers do, which I am fine with. Will buy them again for another tank.

DarrinDarrin: The media could not be loaded.  I see complaints about people that owned this for a year and they start getting error messages after the warranty expired. The same thing happened to me, but first I saw the heater was active way more than it should be (for a while) the difference is I know how (I think) to fix it.

FIX FOR THE ERROR MESSAGE
if you look at the heater it builds calcium up just like any other heater so you have to clean it. I would not buy any dealer solution for it as you FISH LIVE IN THIS WATER so I use vinegar and water. I took a pic of it soaking and as bad as it is it's going to take a few days so I recommend getting a secondary heater while this happens. Unfortunately don't have one so I came back to order a 2nd one and hope my fish will be ok.
I'll update this if it doesn't work but if I don't then it did

Hammy: Does what it supposed to. Stays within 1 deg all the time and I love the digital readout. It might be a bit larger than the usual ones because of the plastic guard on it but I got used to it and it looks great now in the tank. Make sure to clean it out, it gets very dirty inside that plastic housing.

UPDATE: After 9 months it died, shows EE and I cannot fix it. Tried cleaning it , let it dry out, Unplugged it for a day. Nothing, It will show the proper temp for about 3 mins then "EE" and it shuts off... Poor fish got cold. Looks like the warranty is 1 year? I Lowered the rating from 5 to 2 . Contacting Vendor, I'll update

UPDATE- After contacting the Vendor and telling them the issue, they immediately sent a new heater, It was here in 5 days. Very impressed. I raised the star rating to 4 from 2 due to the customer service. Let's see how long this one lasts.

Alan MichaelsAlan Michaels: On 3/3/21 I purchased two AQQA AQ-015 heaters for my 90-gallon fish aquarium, placing one at each end of the aquarium. Installation was easy, and I set each to a temperature of 75 degrees.

The two heaters never register the same temperature at the same time, but they’re usually within one degree of each other, so no big deal there. I also utilize a submersible stand-alone thermometer, and the temperature reading on that is always within the acceptable range needed for the safety of my fish, so again not worth complaining about.

According to the User's Manual, "Indicator light turns red and starts heating when the current water temperature is 1-degree LOWER than the set temperature.” One of the heaters is always displaying a steady blue light, which indicates all is okay. But the red light on the other one has been glowing since the day I installed it, while displaying the actual temperature of the aquarium alternating between 76 and 77 degrees, which is HIGHER than the set temperature of 75 degrees.

I don’t know if it has something to do with the fact that the heater displaying the red light is placed a couple of inches away from the aquarium filter...
