austinaustin: Works amazingly well. Set and forget.

Brandon J NielsenBrandon J Nielsen: I’ve been using this for a few weeks now for one of my Leopard Gecko rack systems & so far so good! It’s fairly simple to set up & seems to be holding my set temperature very well. I have it plugged into a surge protector, so even after a short power outage, the thermostat returns back to the settings I selected rather than resets, which is a HUGE plus.

Lloyd: I used this to warm the water bay of my motorhome. The unit worked exactly as advertised. I set the “ON” temperature a few degrees above freezing and the “OFF” temperature a few degrees higher. A light bulb was attached and it warmed the bay enough to prevent freezing while using a minimal amount of energy. No problems in setting it up and autonomous operation.

Chelsie: Last year just as winter was coming to a close I experienced every fish owners worst nightmare. The dread heater failure. I managed to catch it just before it boiled my poor frogs alive. It was at 95 degrees. I took the heater out and it was fine all summer. As winter approached I knew I had to get another heater but I was nervous that if it broke I wouldn’t be able to catch it in time again. Someone from my aquatic frog group linked me this and I can’t tell you how happy I am to have it. I literally sleep better at night. The directions are poorly written though and are quite confusing. I looked up the set up on YouTube. But now that it’s working perfectly, I couldn’t be more happy with it. This will be a staple of all my tanks moving forward

Honest Ed: Ok, so I bought one of these fancy new 306T heat-temperature controller things. Now most folks that know me well would say somethin' like "Now what the dickens is that boy gonna do with that!?". Well, down here in the south it gets hot, real hot. Most of our energy-conservation is aimed at keeping our pretty little heads (and other parts) COOL. Yeah, the heat and humidity down here is rather tough. We claim we can cut a chunk off with a knife and send it to Alaska and it'll still be solid when it gets there. Yeah, hot and humid enough to make the big pole at the post office wilt.

So, what's a guy from the enchanted land of humidity supposed to do with something that controls a heating device? Can't plug it into our nearest star to turn it's temp down when it gets too hot. Nope, that won't work, besides...I don't have an extension cord that long (got a bunch of'em, though!). I don't hatch chickens and I don't own an iguana, though I have an old highschool buddy that resembles one strongly (that's another story). So....

Down here in the deep south hardly anybody knows what a “frost line” is. What, bury a water line three feet deep? Shoot put it down six inches so...
