P Scott: My large fish have broken several heaters in the past. This one comes with a protective cover on it and I love that about it. It also has a very easy digital readout for reading and setting and so far it has done exactly what it's supposed to do. My only regret is not finding it years ago.

Polly: I have only had it for a week but works well and I love the exterior control mechanism. I always know the temp and the actual heating element is not as noticeable as my old heaters were. I do keep a floating thermometer in the tank just as a check on the electronic one.

cool girl: I originally purchased a larger one for my 55 gallon aquarium. I was so impressed with it that I decided to ditch the old heater in my 10 gal aquarium and get this heater. I am so glad that I did. It keeps a constant temp in the aquarium now, where the old one that I replaced was constantly needing to be adjusted. I would recommend this to anyone and just get the size recommended for your tank size.

Marty: Many of the so-called submersible aquarium heaters fail because water eventually seeps into the glass tube housing the heating element. Additionally, it is inconvenient to adjust the temperature on these heaters as the control mechanism is located at the top of the heater and you have to reach into the aquarium to turn the control. The HiTauing Aquarium Heater is a huge improvement over the older style heaters as the control mechanism is outside the aquarium and is easily accessed. I am so impressed with the design and function of this heater that I plan to change out all my older aquarium heaters for HiTauing heaters.

Amazon Customer: I ended up ordering a second i liked it so much. It is nice to be able to set the temp with easy to read LED display. Whenever it turns on it doesn't take long to heat up my 15 or my 20 gallon aquariums. It's nice to be able to have my molly/diamond tetra tank at 76 instead of the normal 78 most automatic heaters are set at.
The cover over it has a nice aesthetic also i think it looks nicer than the silver tube hanging in there and keeps the fish/snails safe. Hopefully these last because so far they work awesome. 100% recommended.
