Daniel R.: Good quality and the adjustable temp button is easy to use. Remember do not plug it in until the water completely covers the heating element. Otherwise I’ve had this unit for over a year and it’s done great with non stop heating for my tropical fish. Most definitely would order again.

JustSaying: Definitely read the manual. They call out to get accurate readings, water need to flow. What I didn't know what how horrible it worked without water flow.

calaltaca: Started up an Aquarium again in the Covid days. As many took up an old hobby (didn't have a bread maker)
Found things had changed a lot. I thought a pre-set heater would be good. No worry. Then had an ich outbreak. Had to raise the water temp. Bought a well known and reputed brand. Almost had a fish fry as it wouldn't shut off. Plus I don't like sticking my hand in the tank very often. Thought I'd give this a try. Love it. I always keep 2 independent thermometers in the tank. Not very trusting I guess. This one has kept the temp. right on. The first one failed after 1.5 years. BUT, it notified me it had. Had a spare on hand. I read reviews that said - from what I could garner - cheap Chinese stuff, buy a name brand. Go right ahead. I did and almost lost all my fish. VERY handy to be able to adjust temp. from the outside.

Ashley: Bought 2 of these.. they both work well at heating the water to temperature.
The star reduction comes from:
-when the water temp is low an alarm goes off and you have hit the button or it continues until temperature is reached
-If controller is not mounted, it could fall into uh our tank. Use something to mount it or find yourself plucking itnoutnof the water
