L. Fern: I was concerned about the fit as we have a tub with a whirlpool so it's a little taller than average, but this worked well! The leg height is very adjustable so you can make it level even with the slope of the tub. It took me a couple different tries, but then got it perfectly level. It worked very well and we are very happy with the purchase.

Mish: This chair is a lifesaver for my spouse. It allows him to manage moving from his walker to the shower by himself. It did not fit in our regular, tight fit bath but fits nicely in our walk- in shower. It ìs non-slip and putting it together is a breeze. No tools needed. It allows independence for the disabled. Order the shower curtain to fit and cut down leaking water. I totally recommend this.

CARL MACHIN: Overall, this product is good. My wife can now have a shower.
Because our bathroom is small and the toilet is next to the bath, we figured out that we have to have the back of the chair against the hot/cold water controls so my wife is facing the other way. Otherwise, there was not enough room for her to sit down and raise her legs up when she slides across the bath.

Second thing was the rubber feet on the side that goes into the bath were about 4 inches in diameter which, because the bath is curved as most batch are, it meant it would not go all the way into the bath, the chair was still protruding over the side of the bath.

So, to fix this, i unscrewed the two rubber feet, bought two slip on ones that are a lot smaller from home depot and fitted them. The transfer bench now fits further into the bath and the chair no long sticks out of the edge.

Other suggestions to the manufacturer, try making the legs more snug to the slide, they still stick out or make them so they can slide into the frame.

A clip in piece of Perspex on the side where the bath is would be great in order to help reduce the amount of water going on the floor, the...

Tina Chapman: It is bigger than the normal shower bench but we are managing in a very small bathroom. We don't use the soap holder or seat belts but good to have for those that need them. We like the bench very much.

happy98happy98: The media could not be loaded.  I took a leap of faith on this product because so many reviews said it wont work in a small bathroom. The bathroom in my moms room is a 3/4 bath, toilet, sink and shower and is tiny 6×8 if that. However the toilet sits across from the sink and next to the hall entrance door. There is nothing but the door to her bedroom in front of thr shower entrance. (I drew a crude diagram for a visual) This is what makes the difference. I think people who have a toilet or sink in front of the entrance to the tub or shower are the ones with the "not for small" bathroom problem. So please look at the configuration of your room, thay is what will matter the most. This product is excellent.
