HoboJo: I got this for shaving my head. It misses a lot of hairs, but repeated passes usually get them. As for the face, it yanks hairs if you don't first go over them with a beard style trimmer at shortest setting (ie no cover). I find the pop up trimmer pretty useless. Pretty weak and too cumbersome to for any detailed trimming. I use a dedicated trimmer instead when that's needed. Shaving in shower is nice, but it doesn't seem to get as close a cut when wet. The biggest plus is the storage bag. There are lots of pieces, and the bag is definitely needed.

The battery life is quite good and the shave quality is excellent for a rotary trimmer. The additional attachment are of some good use, less so for the scrub brush, but this may differ depending on use case.

After a few weeks of use I've found what works best for me is to use this after showing to maintain a shaved head. After showing and making sure the scalp is free of any excess oil I'll lightly wet the scalp and apply a shaving cream, then proceed to use the trimmer. After about half my head is done rinse the head of the trimmer under water to clear the hair and finish the other half of the head. The entire process only takes a few minutes. If there are some spots that get missed repeat.

The results are pretty good given that this is a rotary trimmer, and not a foil shaver, or a proper razor. Clean up is easy enough. Follow the directions, separate the rotary head and rinse after every use, and about once a week pull the individual rotors and give it a good cleaning.

REX: This is a very simple, yet effective, facial scrubber. The unit is of very good quality, including the two included brush heads. The charcoal tip brush is the roughest, i use it the most. The rubber like brush head is much softer, yet still effective, it would be good for anyone with sensitive skin. A single charge has lasted over one week, using it two cycles per day for 7 days. The timer is a good feature, but not long enough for me, I run it for two cycles. The two speeds is also a good feature, I use the fastest speed most of the time. The unit is very light and fits perfectly in my hands.

There is really nothing to dislike about this scrubber, it's the best one I have ever owned.

Liam K.: Like many others here, I got sick of paying for haircuts every couple weeks to maintain a mostly-bald head. I've shaved my face with a blade for decades and love the smoothness, but I was willing to sacrifice that if this worked on my head.

And it does! The unique shape fits perfectly in the hand, much better than wand-shaped handles, and I can shave my face and head in 6-7 minutes. It shaves satisfactorily smooth all over, but tends to pull painfully in the mustache area. If those whiskers are longer than about 0.5mm, prepare for a lot of wincing.

Battery life is great; I get 7-8 shave cycles per charge, which works out to about 50 minutes of battery life. Construction seems fairly solid, though I was disappointed to see that the three tiny drive shafts for the blades are plastic. This is ostensibly done to support "wet" use (in the shower or with shaving cream), but it feels cheap and certainly means a shorter lifespan for the shafts.

The shaving surface is easily removed for basic cleaning, and easily disassembled for thorough cleaning. Like most other cordless razors, it will not operate while plugged in (not so much a technical...

Brookyn: Please keep in mind, I purchased this strictly to shave my head which requires no detail trimming. I am writing this review after a few months of using this.

This is a great shaver that is comfortable to use for your head. I am bald and like to shave my entire head. Easy to grip and easy/ gentle to use. I have sensitive skin and do not like to use an actual razor. This is a great alternative to a razor shave. This gets just as close as a razor shave. I also want to mention I do not use this on my face and this may not be the tool for you if you want precise lines or angles in your shaving routine.

I also never knew I needed or wanted an electric face brush until I purchased this. I have even purchased extra charcoal brush heads from Remington directly but have not used any replacement heads because these brushes seem to last a while. I keep short scruff on my face and use the brush in my very short face scruff to clean out the excess oils and dead skin build up. This is necessary if you keep facial hair. I am Italian/ Irish and have medium to dry skin skin type.
