Amazon Customer: For an electric razor, a Remington lithium rechargeable can not be beaten when factoring its low price, good quality, and features. One note for those looking for the stubble beard attachment: mine did not come with one. No problem for me as I would not have used it. However, if you're buying this specifically for that attachment, please double check that you receive one as soon as your razor is delivered. Again, no concern at all for me but it may be for someone else.

D. Rohrdanz: I don't see how it's worth it to pay 3 or 4 times the amount for the same thing-a rechargable electric razor that works well. It's no where near the weight of the all metal one I got 35 years ago (literally), and won't last as long (I replaced the batteries on the old one twice over the years but can't get anyone to work on it anymore--tricky battery hard wire install)--I gave it up after about 25 years and have used various electrical since-this is the best design for me (rotary). And these work well. For her and for me. To each their own at that price! Nuff said.

Cheryl: Remington R4000 Electric Rotary Shaver was purchased for a relative whom has crippled up fingers from arthritis. He recently had another major brand and found it very difficult to hold and use on his face and to clean. I purchased this one and had it delivered directly to his house. He put it on the charger for a day/night. He said that it shaves beautifully and is easy to hold onto and do his entire face and clean it all by himself. I would highly recommend this for anyone with crippled up hands that isn't able to grasp normally. I am so pleased he is able to routinely shave on his own now so he is able to take pride in independence of his own shaving. Thank you Remington!

Ron Connick: It is replacing a Norelco that is over 20 years old, and still works. This one is not as sturdy as the old one, but thats how it is on everything now. I do like the way it goes over my adams apple with no problems, no more moving my skin to shave. You do need to make sure it is charged because you don't have the option to use it while it is plugged in. The biggest drawback is when I am shaving from the top of my beard to my lip. I use the trimer and move it from the bottom to the top. I have to hold the trimmer with my other had so it won't close.

CoCo's MomCoCo's Mom: I plugged it in, charged it up (you have to charge for four hours to get 50 minutes of shaving time). You may or may not get a close shave, depending on the time you spend. I shaved my legs and it takes about every minute to do a good job and get hairs. Otherwise, you will have patches of hair here and there it did not get. This shaver moves with your creases and gets a decent shave when you don't rush through the job. Just doing a try out for a few minutes, I got a completely smooth shin on one leg so I am sure if I take the time to go over both legs well, I will get a good result, at least good enough that hairs are not visible. One thing nice about this shaver, is that you can wash it. Most electric shavers provide you with a little brush to clean the area under the blades. This is definitely more hygenic. I personally do not like how the adapter fits in the shaver, the bottom is an angle and the plug is not, so one side looks like it isn't in The shaver is very lightweight.
