This is a great little shaver. I've had more expensive ones in the past and the rechargeable battery died and I could not find a replacement this has a cord so as long as I have a plug outlet, I'm good!

Llegó a tiempo y cumple segun su descripcion. Me gustó esta rasuradora porque funciona directamente conectandose al cable de alimentacion, no tiene pilas recargable, lo cual es genial, porque no hay problema de desgaste de baterias. Excelente producto y esta muy bien por el precio que pagué.

After over three decades of reliable service, I replaced my old shaver with a new corded Series 1000 shaver. I prefer corded products over those with rechargeable batteries for simplicity and longevity. All of my other corded Norelco shavers have a pliable coiled power cord that stows nicely in a carry bag or drawer. Not so with the Series 1000. It has a straight cord. Although the cord is of smaller diameter than the older flat coiled cords, the insulation material makes the cord as stiff as a lariat, resulting in a very stubborn mess that vehemently fights all attempts of neatly stowing the unit in my drawer. I thought of simply using one of the coiled cords from an old shaver, but no cigar. Norelco changed the female end of the plug because they went from 120V to 15V. While having lower voltage in your face is a good thing in my book, the Noreco designers apparently went with the cheapest and stiffest cord they could find. Other than for the pesky cord that drives me nuts each morning, the shaver itself works fine.

I knew what I was getting, and the only thing I don’t like about ANY electric razor is a straight electrical charger cord, because they twist and knot up. I won’t tolerate that. Well, I had a devil of a time finding a coiled electrical charger cord for this one and ended up getting a used one on ebay from an older but compatible Norelco model. I also got it a protective cover on Amazon and an Amazon Subscribe & Save rotary blade subscription for every six months. What do I like about it? It’s quiet, and it shaves super close. Easy to maintain and clean. Granted, it doesn’t cost much but it doesn’t come with much. If you want to sex it up some, there are goodies you can order to go along with it.
