Philips Norelco 2100 Rechargeable Wet/Dry Electric Shaver for a Smooth, Close Shave

Curtis: I've been using this one shaver for 6 years, without even replacing the blade heads until now. Before this, I had one for 4 years that only broke because a friend threw it (long story, I deserved it). kniteman: The battery life is excellent I can use it for four or five days and then I put it on the charger it never has run dead on me yet. after almost two months of use it has been very reliable it is easy to clean you can rinse it out under the sink or in the shower it ends up being easy to hold I would rather it be a little bit different contour shape but it it very good. the only downside to it that is kind of a common one with all electric razors you end up every now and then getting a yanked are or where, pulls on one of the pairs that it doesn't get cut completely. Whenever I shave it ends up giving me a pretty clean and stubble free cut. my only real negative about it is when you plug it in to charge it says to wait till the green light is on steady and not blinking well after the light comes on and is on for about 30 or 40 minutes it turns itself off I ended up not knowing if it was completely charged since I'd left it to the side on two different days I finally called The Philips customer service and they explained that to me that after about 30 to 45 minutes the charging light goes out oh well I wish they had put that in their customer service or instruction book but that was...

BPat: So, I have tried multiple electric shavers and all of which have been horrible. I was hesitant to buy another one and test it out, but after reading a lot about different electric shavers this model was within my price budget, so I gave it a shot. A lot of times I am running late for work and need to do a quick shave, or shave on the go. I love razor blades over electric shavers for the closeness they provide. This shaver will not get a close shave like a razor blade, but it does very well in getting there. One thing I was afraid of with trying another electric shaver was that other shavers used to give my skin burns, make face neck area bleed, uneven shaving, plus it just wasn't close.

This electric shaver is beautiful, it gives me super close shares, I love the sturdiness of the shaver and with my big hands, it fits comfortably. The shaves are super quick, they are unbelievably comfortable, I have not cut myself at all since I bought this electric shaver (LOVE THAT!!!). The design is great, as you press on your face, they push in a bit to not cut your face like other shavers. Usually, 1 to 2 passes are more than enough to get a nice clean shave. CHECO: Hace muchos años use una rasuradora electrica y hoy despues de muchos años compre una y estaba esceptico de su uso y de la calidad del producto, el primer uso que le di, me rasuro bien, pero despues de la costumbre del rastrillo, se siente extraño el corte, despues de la segunda rasurada la piel se acostumbra y el uso de la maquina se hace sencillo sabiendola usar y aplicandola en forma circular para que corte en las mejillas, quizas las zonas mas complicadas para cortar son en la parte baja de la barba, que es el cuello, pero con practica, queda muy bien el rasurado. Ampliamente recomendable, solo es cuestion de adaptacion y quizas tengas que recurrir al ratrillo en las partes menos accesibles de la cara y cuello.

Emmanuel Alejandro Gutiérrez Solís: Esta fue(y es) mi primera rasuradora eléctrica y debo decir que es un producto maravilloso, el rasurado es suave y corta al ras , a veces hay que maniobrar un poco la rasuradora para obtener los mejores resultados, pero es un contratiempo menor, en la parte trasera cuenta con una navaja para emparejar/delinear, lo cual es un plus que se agradece bastante.
A lo anterior le añadimos que la rasuradora es inalámbrica y recargable, y tenemos un producto sublime que te va a dar un muy buen desempeño a cambio de una inversión bastante modesta
. Por el momento el color azul en específico está sobre los mil pesos, pero basta con buscar en Amazon el modelo(2100 S1560/81) para encontrar los otros colores en su precio real que ronda los 600-700 pesos.

Cliente de Amazon: Hace 10 años deje de usar rasuradoras eléctricas, por alguna u otra razón dejaron de convencerme y opte por los rastrillos, llevo 3 días con esta rasuradora y me ha convencido de no regresar al rastrilllo, Adiós a los cuellos con puntos de corte, adiós al cuello con marcas de corte, ciertamente hay un poco de irritación pero pasa al cabo de unos minutos y todo es que se acosturmbre la piel. Aquellosque dicen que no corta al ras algo deben estar haciendo mal o es su primera maquina de afeitar electrica, la realidad es que te rasura muy bien si haces movimientos circulares y si conoces como corata puedes acabar con la barba en zonas dificieles o ques sale en todas direcciones, como referencia tengo 2 remolinos en el cuello y sale la barba para todas partes, esta rasuradora lo ha dejado muy bien

Tech Reader: This review is being written 1/8/2017 for the Philips Norelco Electric Shaver 2100, S1560/81, advertised and sold on Amazon.

There is significant bang for the buck with this low-end Norelco shaver. The heads are flexible, motor operation very smooth, controls are simple, ergonomic feel is comfortable in the hand, run-time is good, easy to lightly clean (pop open and rinse under running water).

To charge, plug in for up to 8hrs may be required. The charging indicator will blink green to indicate charging is in progress, show solid green when complete, then 30 minutes later turn off the charging indicator. Charging auto shuts off at that point (no need to worry about overcharging should you leave it plugged in for more than 8 hrs. I did check with Norelco Customer Service to verify this.). During use, unplug and operate in cordless mode only.

The shaver is made in The Netherlands (charger is made in China).

What features aren't included in this model that are in the higher end shavers?
