Virgil Stone: We purchased this to replace a less model. My beautiful wife had two hips repladed in 3 months. We needed a best quality and strong model. I weigh 225. I can and have stood on it, set on it and it is safe and solid. I would say if properly assembled, but it is well engineered, and is easy to assemble and the stuff only fit one way.

It also looks good and is easy to clean. Safe, sanitary and sturdy. Just a few bucks more than the others and it is a very good product.

JpJp: This chair was so easy to assemble, even with arthritic hands. At the lower levels of height, chair works well and is sturdy and stabile. Once you move to the 2 highest holes for height, the chair feels considerably less stable. That is not from the main structure of the chair, but the fact that it is sitting on 4 pole legs. It may do the job for higher weights, but I do not have anyone here near the weight limit so can't speak to that fact.
I can keep my chair setting on the lower levels, so sturdy and good for me. I would suggest, at the value and quality overall that you give it a try and check for yourself.

Yuki-Kage: This one has suction cup bottoms however they aren't sticking to the tub with enough force. Chair wobbles and tilts during shifting. Sturdy and hold my weight though

kim thompson: Some reviews mention the small size and compare this chair to child size. It is small. I’m 6’2” and 340 lbs and I wasn’t sure it would work for me. But, after assembling and moving off of the carpet (which makes it wobble a bit) it worked well. My butt does hang over the sides a bit but it does the same on most straight back chairs or stools that I sit on.
I have a heart condition that made my HeartRate jump to 130 per minute until I got on the right medication. Stand up for more than a few minutes is still an issue so this chair has mad a huge difference for me. I had gotten to where I only took one shower a week because it was so hard to do…even with the meds. Now I can take long hot showers again and shave while I’m in there.
I took the word of others and bought different suctioned hand grips but I can actually stand up from the chair without them. I also have a bad back.
