LrbJrb: It was very easy to assemble. Light as a feather which is great for the elderly. Legs were a little wide for an older tub, but Mom has no problems turning it to face outward. Likes it better than the large seat that slides outside tub. Because it’s light, it can be manoeuvred easily.

MellanyMellany: We chose this chair because the seat is smaller than many others and we have a very small shower to my surprised it fits perfectly sideways, even with the arms on. Very please with this purchase that allows a family member to still shower comfortably on their own.

JanJan: I suffered a sudden injury that changed the way I have to do things for months to come, if not longer. I needed to find a shower chair quickly, during a pandemic where a lot of "hands-on shopping" was not available. I was in the hospital and my husband was overloaded with taking care of everything. I, thankfully, had my ipad and went right to Amazon to find what I needed with fast delivery. The shower I would have access to during my recovery was a smaller, single-person shower with not a lot of extra space. The measurements were listed and my husband was able to do a quick check and I ordered and received quick! Hubby had it put together in no time before I was even released. I'm very happy with the purchase. I am 5'2" and weigh about 125 lbs. I fit just fine and we've adjusted the height of the legs several times to find what works best for me. It only takes a couple of seconds to adjust and Is very sturdy and stable. The last thing I need is a wobbly chair to grab onto and stabilize myself and this chair makes me feel very secure. My husband is much larger than I and he didn't feel he would comfortably fit, but it works great with room to spare for...

SoCalPatriot: Having had major spinal surgery recently I was looking for a way to take a shower with support. This chair is sturdy with legs that are adjustable for your desired height. The arms have non-slip padding that assures getting a good grip. The seat has drainage holes, and the bottom of the legs are rubber-tipped to keep you from sliding. I had borrowed a shower stool, but I much prefer this chair with a back and arms for increased safety. I was expecting it to weigh more, but it was quite manageable at 7 lbs. (even though my lifting was restricted to 5 lbs.). It was easy to assemble so unless you are frail, I would not purchase the $95.95 assembly package! Some other reviewers complained about stagnant water, but I have not had that problem because there are holes for drainage in the rubber feet (also on the seat). I have a walk-in shower (no step to enter) so it easily fit. My one suggestion is to warm up the seat with hot water before sitting down or you will find your derriere rather chilly! I really prefer taking bubble baths, but that is out of the question for several weeks. In the meantime this is a wonderful product to help refresh you safely while...

Pepper12: I purchased this chair based on its excellent reviews and product features and am very pleased with the product quality. The assembly required no tools; the parts are very well made and designed for easy but sturdy assembly; the seat is solid with substantial metal underbracing to ensure no possibility of the seat breaking like a popular competitor's model on Amazon; and it is surprisingly comfortable. I cannot put weight on my leg for 3-4 months following surgery to repair a bad femur break around my total knee replacement. I need a quality chair I can trust as I use crutches to transition in and out of the chair while in our walk-in shower, and this is perfect. It is important for me that the chair design lets me use the arms to help me rise from a seated position, but the chair can be assembled as a stool without the arms or back, and easily disassembles for storage. I also like that the arms have nice waterproof padding for comfort, and that the chair height can be adjusted in the same manner as crutches, with a push button assembly on each leg that lets the length be changed in 1-inch increments. My in-home physical therapist was very impressed by this...

I'm a 39 year old male. I'm 5'10" weighing 172 lbs. I've had 8 back related surgeries. I have a 6'x6' ADA shower. A friend let me use his shower chair which had no backing or arms and fully extended was about 4" shorter than this chair. He had to take it back. So I bought this one and I'm very pleased with it.
It requires no tools out of the box. It's light weight. The back and arms do not need to be used but I use them and they are easy to align into their receivers on the chair. I have the chair almost fully extended to the 2nd to last hole/notch and it's very sturdy!
I wish it had a cushion but there are only a few chairs out there that come with cushions and for almost double the price. However, I like that the seat is somewhat on the smaller side which "helps" men in certain areas.
I'm very pleased and I highly recommend this chair. If you weight over 200 lbs., it'll still work but you'll have lower the legs some, depending on your weight. If you're over 220 lbs even though it says it has a 300 lbs capacity, THIS IS NOT YOUR CHAIR!!! You will stress it out and be hurt!!!
Update: used it for 3 months and I'm very pleased. I wipe...

Fat Rabbit:
Bought this chair to get me off my feet when my knees are acting up. I'm 6'1 and 256lbs and this chair does not flinch or wobble. I can sit down confidently and it shows no signs of being under strain. The materials heat up nicely with just a few seconds of hot water so you don't get that ice cold shock sitting down.
I drilled out small drainage holes in the tubes were the arm rests push into because I found I don't need them and would prefer to have adequate drainage to keep stagnant water out of the chair. I only opted to remove the arm rests because I'm not dependant on them to help me stand up or keep me in the chair; so in hindsight the cheaper version of this chair with out arms would have been sufficient for me but it's nice to have options.
I'm very happy with this purchase, everything about this chair inspires confidence and it's comfortable. I'd buy again for sure.

Char: The bottom of the chair comes assembled and you only need to slip the arms and back into the bottom. They are a bit tight, but they will go in with some pressure. Chair is sturdy and 5 foot person can sit and touch the ground on the lowest setting. Nice wide seat. Arms are comfortable.
