Andrew HatteryAndrew Hattery: I've had issues with quartz glass since mine blew up under the water. This is a way better alternative and it doesn't look unsightly later on like quartz ones do.

Randy H: I like frogs and so I used this to keep a 300 gallon tadpole habitat warm on cool days. It seems to have held up well and did a commendable job on the 300 gallon tank.

Jason Chandler: For the cost, this is a great option for heating your aquarium. It is durable as it is titanium, however, they do tend to malfunction electronically/ mechanically. I have had the thermometer go out on them. I have also had them stop heating or overheat the water. I have purchased quite a few of these and they will typically last you at least a year or more. Sometimes longer. Again, not bad for the price.

Ann: The digital display is so easy to see. The best part is being able to change the temperature setting without going inside the tank. The heater is working just great in my 90 gallon tank. Obviously I have been using a very old heater.

nandjands: Works great and can be fully submerged making it much easier to position correct in my aquarium.

Danielle C.Danielle C.:
UPDATE: I’ve had this heater since the end of March. 8 months later, the heater stopped working and one fish is dead. I had to turn up the heat in my house to get the temp to raise in the tank until I got a new heater. 😡
I got this for my new 60 gal tank and I’ve had it for a few weeks. It initially heated the tanked rather quickly and heats the tank very quickly when the temperature is raised. I included a photo of the strip thermometer to show that one is off by 1 degree, which may be because the strip is outside the tank (on the glass), but they’re both consistent and that’s what I care about.
This digital heater/thermometer is better than the knob heater I have on my smaller tank. The knob adjuster heater is never accurate and I don’t have that problem with this digital one.

Luke Cassidy: I’m using the heater in a 60gal aquarium and it will not get hotter than 80 degrees. It’s supposed to be able to heat up to 99 degrees
