Professor: While no electric is going to shave as close as a blade, this one is very good.
Shaves very close... with no razor burn! Also it's very quiet.
And very easy to clean - just push the button and the top hinges open for easy rinsing.
Completely sealed and waterproof. (I use mine in the shower.)
Battery life is great - I have jet to recharge mine. And the gauge shows how much charge is left. (It uses only 1-2% charge each shave.)

Jim Savage: I've ordered a couple of these for myself and my autistic son. They've worked out well and are less expensive than other rotary shavers I've purchased. The only hiccup is the last one I ordered was DOA - no charge & wouldn't take a charge. Amazon replaced it promptly with one that worked fine from the start.

Omnomnom: When my previous name-brand shaver died, I went looking for a replacement, and found this MAX-T shaver at a fraction of the price. After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance on it, and I'm really glad I did. This shaver gives a good shave, as good or better than my old one. The way the 3 heads move the do a great job going around and over your chin and jaw line. You can use this shaver wet or dry, but so far I've only used it dry. I get a good enough shave this way, so I haven't felt the need to try it wet or with shave cream.
Clean up is easy, just pop it open and rinse it out. It comes with a little brush but I find that the rinse method does a better job of getting all the hairs out and is much easier.
Battery life is shaping up to be very good as well. I've been using it every day for a week now, and the battery level is only down to 67%. At this rate I'll only be charging it every couple of weeks. I really like the battery level display on the front so you can see exactly how much battery you have left. Also, it came with a full charge, which was nice.
The other negative to me is that I find it a little hard to hold. The thing is light weight, and a little...

Delcocat: MAX-T 3D Rotary corded & cordless Shaver Razor is one of the best razors I've owned especially at this price point at time of purchase of $46.00. I gave this 4.7 stars since you can't do this with the current rating system. The good the bad and break down as follows:
1. Looks = Excellent 2. Size = Excellent 3. Weight = Excellent 4. Easy to hold/handle = Excellent 5. Easy to Clean = Excellent 6. Battery Life = Exceptional 7. Power = Excellent 8. Trimmer = Exceptional 9. Display = Excellent 10. Versatility/wet/dry = Excellent 11. Cutting/Closeness/Quickness = 4.7. I would have given an over all of 5+ stars and an Exceptional rating except that in my opinion this ironically as shown above and last could shave a bit closer with fewer passes. Confusing because the power and speed at which the blades revolve seem fast & powerful enough so I'm thinking it could be the thickness of foil over laying the blade heads? Don't get me wrong it shaves pretty close and if your not used to an electric this can and will give you razor burn. You can get a closer shave if you spend a bit more time with shorter strokes and or perhaps with shave cream. That's the relatively minor negative...

Amazon Customer: I've shaved with disposable cartridges & cream for most of my life. I would get Sensor Excel Mach 2's but the price is high, you need shaving cream and they lock up the cartridges a the pharmacy so it's an extra step to ask someone for assistance to access the product.
For a year I've been dry shaving with this device. If you let it run for a couple of minutes before you start it will warm up and it will be more pleasant when you make contact with your skin. Kind of like a massage.
If you procrastinate and you're shaving with more than stubble then you will find that the device pulls at your beard hairs and the sensation is far from pleasant. Fortunately there is a trimmer attached and you can spare yourself this fate if you do some pre-trimming before shaving (very helpful when doing the upper lip)... Or, don't procrastinate and it won't be an issue.
They say to replace the blades every six months but you can 'get away' with the same ones for longer. I changed mine after about a year. I immediately noticed the difference (less pulling more cutting).
Cleaning the device... While you're shaving it's easy enough to pop the top and tap the device to...

Simon D G: It seems me and electric razors have an incompatibility issue. I'm never satisfied. I've tried many brands ( Conair being the worst so far for me ) and decided to give this one a shot.
This one feels alright when you hold it. It produces a nice sound. It looks durable. It probably is.
I just feel like they don't shave right, and this one is no exception. I spend maybe thrice the time shaving with this when compared to a normal, non-electric razor. I tried many techniques, to no avail. It's relaxing to shave with this thing, it feels good when you do it, but it just takes so long.
I shave my head and I use it only to do this now. I'm back to regular razorblades for my beard as it's much less time-consuming. Shaving my head still takes longer than with normal blades of course, but it also gives me a head massage at the same time, so I just browse the internet, read a few articles while shaving my head for a solid 30 minutes. My head is pretty hot when I'm done and this thing heats up over time, but it's not so bad.
It just seems like this razor doesn't shave well enough.
The integrated clipper is so-so. I mean, it does the job, but I've seen...

Edward I Boyd: I bought this unit because the one that I had previously's blade had started to dull. When researching replacement blades, I found that they were not available. I had previously tried a universal set that I was very disappointed with. When I received this one, I wanted to store the old one in it's original box. When I opened it, I found that there was a set of new replacement blades in the box that had been included with the original that I thought I had already used. Since they were still sealed, it was obvious that I had not used these, so I decided to give the old and the new side-by-side comparisons. I shaved one side of my face with the old razors with the replaced blades and the new one. The new one won this battle hands down. The next day, I reversed the test and again the new razor won easily.
This new Max-T razor does a far superior job of performing a nice, close shave. The old one left a bit of stubborn stubble that it just couldn't get to, leaving my face still feeling a bit abrasive. Going over this area with the Max-T razor produced the same smooth shave as going over a day's growth of beard, so it shaved the stubble that the old razor failed to...
