Hygger 500W/800W Titanium-Encased Steel Aquarium Heater

Amazon Customer: I purchased this for my 125g freshwater tank that I previously had a undersized fluval and marineland heater in. They were too small for the tank, it wasn’t holding the proper temp but I didn’t want to spend a ton at the pet stores for the sufficient wattage. After contemplating for a couple days I chose this and I’m glad I did. It does exactly what it’s supposed to and I love the attached real time thermometer. It looks nice in the natural tank setting, it blends in to the back of the tank for a nice aesthetic. I have Discus which are particular about their water temp and this has been running like a dream for a few weeks. 10/10 would recommend.

Kala Duhamell: I've gone through a few water heaters in the past couple of years. Some don't heat the water very well, some broke way too easily, some just continued to heat the water with no stop. This heater is amazing. Its a little big and bulky but it's awesome. Have zero problems with the suction cups, the temperature gage on the outside where I can actually see the temp is amazing and I control very easily. It keep the water at the perfect temperature and if it falls too low, quickly heats it, but if it only a little low it slowly heats. Very easy to clean. I had it for a couple months now and I don't think I will get any other heater if I ever need to replace this one.

It's meeeeeIt's meeeee: The media could not be loaded.  DO NOT BUY! I bought this back in December it is now March. I have not taken the heater out of the water since I put it in and now out of nowhere I'm getting an error stating that the heating element is out of water.
For the months that it worked it was fantastic it was about one degree off. It heat the water really even in a 200 gallon aquarium.

A Lopez Macedo: The media could not be loaded.  I am absolutely happy with this heater. We created an 150 gallon outdoor above ground oasis for our Red Eared Sliders so we moved them from their 55 gallon indoor tank. I had read reviews about this heater and people did not recommend for outdoor pond use because it is intended for indoor not becausethey tried it. Well I am here to tell you that as long as the main control unit is completely waterproofed (covered) and electrical plug is completely waterproofed (covered) there is no issue with the heater for outdoor use and it works Great! I love the fact I can go out at night and clearly check the temperature through the water. We have been getting night time temperatures below 45 degrees lately so I periodically check the temperature of the water with an external thermometer to make sure it is continuing to work properly and maintain accuracy of the temperature which it has with no issues. The RES Turtles are nice and Happy 😊 staying warm and toasty. Length of the cords are perfect as well.

Tiger: I bought this heater for my 125 gallon African cichlid tank, heats water up pretty fast, not quite sure how accurate the reading is but my fish seem to like it! I set the temp to 82, when I do a water change, the tap water is around 72-73, takes about a hour to get it to my set temperature.

With all that being said, I am returning the one I have now cause the screen on the heater that goes in the tank doesn't turn on anymore, reading on the outside one still works, seller quickly sent out a new one to me, pretty good customer service so far, if their is something that happens latter on ill write about it.
