Easy to install, may need to us deeper groved (Phillips)screws to keep from stripping when trying to tighten. Other than that, quality seat.

Rated for 250 lbs however the welds don't look strong enough. Further if mounting on tile the edges of the mounting is sharp and thin diameter. It should be flat metal disc's. This will certainly crack the tiles when secured or any weight is added.
I will be returning this.

We had the professional install for this but I can say it does NOT look easy! It took awhile to get it in but he did a GREAT job. It's worth the extra $99 for installation. My wife has MS and needs a seat in the shower. It's a small area so we opted for this fold up seat. We love it! It's very sturdy and looks stunning up or down. We're very happy with our purchase. If you're like me, you're always reading reviews before making a purchase like this. I'd say pay for the professional install as it takes a lot more than what I expected it would.

Installed as a shower seat, needed an extra hand to install before drilling through the tub surround to hold seat and frame in place and proper alignment. All components were high quality and works smoothly when operated up and down EXCEPT both type screws are cheap imitations probably from China. Every phillips head screw striped out even when I pre-drilled pilot holes. Had to make a trip to the hardware store and buy solidly made stainless steel screws.
IF the screw issue is fixed in the future then this is an excellent product.
