AmaDG: Purchased this for my mom who has a bad hip and who sometimes loses her balance. She was not a happy woman when it arrived and really made no secret that she was annoyed about it. After realizing that the alternative was to have someone come in and make sure she was safe while bathing (because it could not always be me) she quietly agreed to the installation. I had a professional carpenter put it in. I chose this seat for the holder on the side and because it was the tallest of the bunch I saw (again, her hip- easier to get off higher chairs). Anyhow, it folds up, blends in well with her older generation bathtub (1950). She now loves it and spends longer in the shower. She is safer sitting and the chair was reasonably priced. If you have to buy this for a loved one, my suggestion is to have a professional install it. I also suggest safety rails be put in by the same professional. Makes caregiver role much easier.

massimo: Può apparire un po'ingombrante, anche da chiuso, vista la forma stondata della seduta, ma seppur montato in un box semicircolare 80x80, non lo è più di tanto. È comodo e sicuro e le maniglie ai lati aiutano sia nell'atto di sedersi che in quello di alzarsi. Consigliato se il box doccia ha almeno le misure di cui sopra

Rsqdiver: One of the best products I have purchased from Amazon! Buy some sturdier mounting hardware, and you may some assistance locating were to drill the holes, but that is it. Very sturdy. Only thing I would suggest is a template to help drill the holes. Feel safe taking a shower again without having to use a chair.
