Rita a Kern: The product is really good, but it allows water to get on the floor outside the tub. It's probably ok for someone that can't get into the tub by themselves.

Brian R: This is a great transfer bench for the bathtub for someone who has mobility issues. Sit on the outside edge and slide across to inside the tub. The seat is three individual seats separated by about a quarter of an inch. I cut two slits in the plastic shower curtain from the bottom to the height of the chair, and am able to fully close the curtain and slip the portion of the curtain between the cuts down thru the space between the seats. A bit fiddly, but works extremely well in keeping water inside the tub. A really great product.

D. Kosko: A while ago my husband had a stroke leaving him physically impaired on his left side making it extremely difficult for him to be able to get in to use our shower/tub combo. Sponge bathing was bothersome and certainly not as effective as showering. Husband had been given a Drive walker from his rehab facility to help his mobility so when his nurse suggested we get him a transfer bench for our tub I looked to see what Amazon had available. When I saw that Drive had a tub bench I ordered it as it had great reviews. The reviews did not disappoint! This bench was Extremely easy to assemble which was important for me being an older lady. The bench is extremely study, more than stong enough to hold a 5'11" 265 lb person!

Kentucky gal: My mother had just a regular shower chair (not a bench type) that would not suffice after hip surgery. I saw this and thought it would be perfect for her to slide back on first and then turn herself around inside the shower. It's been a game changer! She now takes showers on her own without assistance after hip surgery. The only draw back is: I wish they made one for small apartment bathtubs that round on the inside. Even so, she is still able to use it even though it sticks out further than it would if her bathtub did not round. So far, we have not seen any rust like one review said, but I could see how that's going to happen over time with the type of metal used. I just thought, "We will deal with that later." The goal was to make things easier now. So glad I got this for her!

Interplanet Janet: I majorly injured my foot and ankle and it is going to be a LONG healing process. I didnt expect this to be such a game changer! This bench has given me the confidence to take showers without worrying about additional injury and it has made it even easier to use my standard tub versus the "walk-in" shower which still has a small rise to get over. With the transfer bench there is absolutely no problem getting in and out of the tub. I am so grateful to have this! I don't know what I would've done without it. Well I definitely wouldn't be as clean as often or have had the confidence to know that I can shower safely. Don't hesitate, just get this if you have mobility issues or are unable to stand in the shower!

Archie: I bought this for my son who has a broken ankle and a cast up to his knee. We have a bathtub shower and I was worried about him stepping over the rim of the tub to get to the shower chair. This chair is great because the bit that stays out of the shower makes getting in & out much easier than having to step over the rim of the tub. It is a more expensive thank the standard shower chairs, but for safety and stability getting in & out over the bathtub rim, this is hands down the best shower chair. Added bonuses, it was very easy to assemble, the suction is very strong, the design of it makes it much more flexible in terms of bathtub sizing (with two feet out of the tub, the feet in the tub can go anywhere, you're not limited to the width of your tub) and delivery was super quick. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Norm: Don't know what happen to the shipping that made it over a week late. The tracking was not good during the days it was missing. Shipping was within Canada.

Chair works well and is solid. We recommend it. It is a little big for our tub and needs, but that is how it is.

Interior Girl: I have had this Transfer Bench for three years now, after breaking my hip. The bench is easy to put together by one person, with no screw drivers required. It took me about a half hour to assemble it. The height is adjustable, and has the hand grip on the one side. I did check out other makes and models, and found this one to be the best option for the price. Other models were less sturdy, larger or smaller and higher priced. I definitely would recommend this make and model to anyone.
