Natalie F.: I researched and compared other bath chairs. This one had the cross bars under the seat for extra support which seems to be able to hold more weight and is also helpful for sturdiness. The size is right... Not too big or small and the rubber on the bottom of the legs helps it stay in place. The only caution would be to keep it on a level surface and do not lean back too heavily or it may fall backwards? We put it toward the back wall of the shower with no problems...and it even fit well in our separate small, older porcelain bathtub. I recommend it.

creaturekeeper: I had trouble finding a shower chair to fit in my narrow tub. This fits and I feel safe sitting in it. Some others I tried that fit, were wobbly. The cross bars underneath give it stability.

KbarUpit: The instructions for assembly are pretty easy to read. Just pay attention to how to place the washers. They wrap around the legs and not the other part of the frame. After assembly, I placed it in my tub and was impressed with how sturdy it is with its non-slip feet.

Betty: I’m using this while recovering from foot/ankle surgery to use in bathtub/shower. It’s easy to pick up and place in and out of tub on my own with one hand. I also use to support myself at sink with bent knee when brushing teeth; sitting on while dressing myself. The footprint of the base of legs just fits within the width of my standard size bathtub/shower which is main reason I went with this chair. I chose to purchase a chair from Amazon as opposed to renting one from a store specializing in rehab equipment because it was cheaper and I felt more hygienic.

Bronx girl: Put together in 10 minutes. So light you can pick it up with one hand but sturdy too with no wobbling. I never liked showering before...I love baths. But using this makes showering like being in a spa. I like that this one has a back to it. Don't hesitate to get one.
