I had to get this when my back completely gave out and I could not stand to shower or get in and out of the bathtub. After surgery I still used it until I was comfortable standing on my own. I didn't use the handle that came with it because my shower has enough hand holds.
Best used in a garden tub if you have shower tub combo. Tried it in regular tub first and it was too cramped. But was great in garden tub.
It never slipped or tipped.
