Texpat: Looks great, perfect for my oversized shower cubicle. Not a particularly easy task to put together with screws going in at an angle and sadly Allen key provided didn’t fit. So be ready to be patient when assembling.

Dianne O'Donnell: A year down the road and this bench is still perfect. We bought this when we build a large walk-in shower. It was a bit pricey but worth it. It has held up beautifully for over a year with daily use by two adults - neither of us are petite! Sturdy construction ...great color ...dries quickly ..takes up very little room. Great for shaving legs or just soaking up some warm water. The waffle cut seat is a bit rough on the bum if you sit too long but easily remidied with a towel for comfort. One caution using this seat does require a flat surface and good balance - not the best choice for elderly or someone with balance issues.

michael: The bench is strong, but the condition that it came in was terrible. It was all scratch up on the legs and the top. If it didn't come that way it would have gotten five stars.

Theresa Dickison: I purchased this teak stool for the purpose of putting it in my Mom's bathtub shower stall. She is older and sometimes loses her balance and wanted something to sit on in the bathtub/shower. She also didn't want a "medical" or "hospital" looking stool so I thought this was a good compromise. We have a pretty standard size tub (17" wide) and this stool fits in it with no problem. It also has rubber feet on it so it won't scratch anything.

This is a very solid piece of furniture. I'm very confident letting my Mom sit on it (and I like it as well - very decadent, spa feel when you're using it). Because of the way the legs are structured, there is no danger of it tipping over either. The stool comes in four pieces - the stool top, two legs and the crossbar for the legs. It wasn't too bad to put together. You have to be careful because the legs will only go on one way in order for the screw holes to line up. The screws are screwed in using an Allen wrench (the wrench is included but I used my own Allen wrench set because I have better ones than the one that was included).

I've had teak furniture in the bathroom before (a teak bath mat and a teak chair)...
