JH: I bought these as a back up and or addition to our existing driveway chime which was much more expensive.
So far, these work much better without all the false alarms the existing driveway chime gave off numerous times each day. These have now replaced our more pricey system which was too unreliable.
Once these are charged they have a very good battery life and last throughout all of the seasons. I'm impressed with the performance over the winter months especially. -30's C which I thought might be the deal breaker, but they worked just fine.
I'd recommend these to others who need a reliable driveway chime especially over a longer distance.

Catluvr: I purchased this product as I live out in a rural area. I have placed one at my driveway entrance and others around my property near other entrances. These are extremely sensitive (which I love) and seem to reach much, much further than the 33' suggested. The higher up these sensors are placed the further they reach so play around with the height. I set them then walked around with the base to see where motion/I was picked up etc. Very easy to install - very easy to use. They do take a long time to charge being as there is only one charger included with a special end to fit each sensor. Each one took quite a few hours to fully charge. They will 'chime' if wildlife passes by - and also if they pick up branches or leaves blowing in the wind. One can set the chimes to different rings so you'll always know which area has detected motion if you cannot see the base. With an 1800' range these will work for most properties.

DTempletonDTempleton: I bought this to replace an old driveway motion sensor system that began to have a lot of false alarms and the required new batteries every 4-6 months. The camouflage actually blends in pretty well with the trees the sensors are mounted to. So far, this this system been rather accurate with USPS, Amazon, UPS and FedEx deliveries. This system is nice because it has a rechargeable batteries and the base can be moved throughout the house(runs on AAs) or plugged in. This unit has 4 sensitivity settings, our old system did not have sensitivity settings. With the two sensors, I initially set both to sensitivity level 2 but dropped them both down to level 1.

The base unit works well, and is easy to program. It is nice to have 36 sounds to choose from and be able to set a different tone for each sensor to know which zone was triggered. It’s not a big deal but I would prefer the base unit to be able to have a 12 hour clock vs 24 hour.
So far the system has been useful and I would buy additional sensors to expand this system.
