Matthew: Cheap, you get allot for your money. Similar systems are a few grand. User friendly, plug and play, allot of bonus features, and saved my butt a few times. You want amazing set up this is yourr go to especially since you can keep upgrading. I can even access them from anywhere in the world from the Pam of my hand.

Leigh: I wanted a reasonably priced camera set that didn't require a subscription and provided 24 hour monitoring. Provides great coverage for my house and great smart night vision, so cameras adjust to lighting. Super dark areas of the yard are harder to view around the edges - but that's to be expected.

Hard drive allows for 2 additional channels if you want more coverage. Adding additional cameras is easy and instructions are detailed.

Cameras work as repeaters which helps extend range. This is great for bigger houses or larger coverage areas. Using a wifi extender definitely helps.

Motion detection at the NVR level is great. Email alerts can be configured to go to your phone. My biggest complaint with the app is that motion detection doesn't show up on the playback timeline, so the only way to get motion alerts is through phone notifications. Annoying to me, but not a dealbreaker, but this is the one area I dinged in ratings.

Best advantage is the tech support. I've used these camera systems for several years and have run into issues from time to time. Customer support responds quickly (remember time difference) and always works to correct the problem. 5

Robert GeissRobert Geiss: I bought this system for my home to help protect my property. It arrived in a few days and it was very simple to set up and install. I hooked the main controller to my tv and followed the onscreen instructions. In a matter of 15 minutes I had all 4 of the included cameras and the additional 2 PTZ cameras added to the system. I installed the app on my phone and proceeded to install the cameras. The phone app was very helpful in aiming the stationary cameras as I was able to get a live feed on my phone. I just drilled a small hole for the power cords where each camera was mounted. I installed all six cameras in a few hours and the system covers every entrance to the house and garage and the 2 PTZ cameras cover the entire 1/2 acre property. The color night vision is really crisp and clear video, far better than IR alone. The spotlight feature is very important as well as the 2 way voice system for leaving instructions to delivery personnel.

edward_Redward_R: This 4-camera system with an NVR is exceptional not only in value but performance as well … straight out of the box and bench tested prior to outdoor camera mounting, it worked perfectly … the setup was straightforward and, even without the manual instructions, logical and easy to follow. The only hiccup was being unable to connect to WiFI and Cloud ID … but, an e-mail sent to CS, and within 24 hours, solved that issue by reconfiguring the “Desired DHS” values not mentioned in the manual … as such, the network connection was complete and “healthy” … Cloud ID was enabled as well.

Mounting the 4 cameras outdoors to monitor our 4 entry points required some forethought … plus access to AC power nearby. Choosing the mounting locations required drilling through walls to the nearest AC duplex … surprisingly the supplied power packs had enough of a lead wire that I needed only 1 power extension cable (Amazon) to make the power connection. Since each camera came with 3 leads (power, Ethernet, and another probably fiber optic) and I only needed the power lead, I purchased 4 junction boxes (Amazon, see gallery) to essentially “hide” the 3 leads.

Sébas: J'ai installé sa à ma maison et ser parfait. 1 camera dans le garage et 3 à l'extérieur. Le moniteur au sous-sol de la maison . La portée wifi et exelante et de plus il donne une antenne longue portée qui se branche sur une caméra au besoin. Les camera son facile à installer. Une fois fixer on peut seulement l'ajuster de haut en bas et se branche sur une prise 120 volt. On n'a juste à brancher le moniteur fil hdmi sur la tv et les caméras se connecte toute seul(elle sont déjà appareillé) . On peut installer une application mobile sur le cellulaire et pour se faire le moniteur doit être connecté à internet par wifi ou fil direct. (Lire les instructions par le fabricant ). Installer app essecloud sur le téléphone et scanner avec l'application seulement essecloud le code barre donner dans les paramètres du moniteur. *Attention de ne pas scanner le code barre avec un autre application genre qr code barre. Paul Dalla Longa: I have mixed feelings about these cameras and mounting hardware. I thought these bullet cameras had night vision with infrared and color night vision meaning a spot light comes on for color night vision recording but it does not, just infrared. The infrared is unbalanced as the heat of the house it's mounted on comes up bright white and fades away to darkness, It seems if camera was mounted facing straight out from house the infrared would be balanced. The mounting brackets are PATHETIC...,need two sets of hands to adjust and tighten. Had to install on wall and reinstall to make adjustments. It should be a BALL SWIVEL style mounting bracket. The motion detection settings give you good choice on sensitivity levels but still picks up even a little bird flying by at Medium setting. The 2K quality picture is Awesome especially to catch porch pirates! The receiver itself is a bit technical but once set to your preferences it does well when playing back recordings. Price wise you can't go wrong even with the glitches. My old DEFENDER security cameras were' not even HD and were $200 more than this system.
