Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Great replacement for Furion system and about 13 the cost!, had issues with their monitor since new but only complained when I got no signal at all, which was past the warranty period!
Pros: plugs into wiring & Furion camera housing, monitor picture far superior to Furion, can see clearly with sun glasses on, 7” monitor, includes windshield suction mounting bracket
Cons: camera mounting bracket requires a little modification but easily done with a file or bench grinder, camera is not as pretty mounted in the housing.
Would have given it 5 stars but need to see how long it holds up. Will wait and see.
Update: did my first run and system was working well. Unfortunately our camping season is over so won’t know how long it’ll keep working

Wayne: This item was very easy to hook up and with it being a colour camera it works very well and is easy to distinguish items in camera even when a shadow is on the items behind motorhome

Monica: I have used wireless backup cameras before on campers and got tired of all the blank screens when you head down the highway. This one does not do that, is a clear picture at 65 miles an hour without a flicker.
Also the view is a much wider view than what I got on other cameras as in I can see well behind me down the road and my full trailer on the back.

Dan J.: Bought Y27 b/u camera & had signal issues. Contacted supplier and they sent me a better antenna with 12’ cord at no cost. Couldn’t believe the quick response, emailed them late on a Friday night & received the antenna on the following Tuesday. Still had issues with the unit not working and again contacted the supplier. They immediately sent me a newer updated version Y27-LSH. The new unit works perfectly with full 5 bar signal. The first unit I had was obviously defective. Supplier was extremely curtious & responded immediately. I cannot emphasize how impressed I am with their service. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to buy from them again!

Jeremy Gilbey: I ordered this and got an extra camera. I installed both at the rear of my travel trailer. Instruction are not good, but I paired them both without too much trouble. You need to use the Ch- button to get to the camera # you want, then pair to a camera. Then change to another # and select pair again. Basically it functions well while not being very intuitive. I attached the dash monitor to a RAM mount that has a T bolt. It fits in the back nicely.
No signal issues from front of Tundra to back of 28ft trailer.
Touch screen would be better, but everything is working well for the price.

I had a small query which was handled by customer services promptly and efficiently, camera and screen working well on test, all good and can recommend this product.

Ari T.: Bought this to add to my Travel Trailer - not sure why all travel trailer don't already come with a backup camera for safety. There are no installation instructions with the purchase - just need to scan a QR code and watch the videos, or search you tube. Installation was VERY easy - took maybe 30 min for installation and display set up.

After a few months of use - I found the displace nice, but almost too big - could probably be a bit smaller if you're only using on camera. The display can show up to 4 different cameras, which is probably why its the size that it is. I don't have any issues seeing around the display on my dashboard. The image is great for the price and works very well - makes backing into my driveway and RV sites much easier, and nice to see what's coming up behind me while driving down the road.

Overall - very satisfied with the purchase.

JohnnyPJohnnyP: I bought and tested four backup/rearview cameras; Yakry, Amtifo, Rohent, and Dohonest. Each of their viewing angles varied, but none of them could be considered “wide-angle” cameras. None of them could be used as BOTH a back-up camera AND a rearview mirror camera. That is; 1) the camera could be aimed down to include seeing your RV’s bumper, but it would only see back 10-25 ft and couldn’t see traffic behind you (unless you were at a stoplight or were a millisecond from being rear-ended), or 2) the camera could be aimed to see the horizon and all traffic behind you, but it would only see forward a short way and you couldn’t see your bumper. In other words, every camera could only be used as a back-up camera OR a rearview camera, but could NOT be used for BOTH functions. Put another way, none of them compete with Furrion cameras. You get what you pay for.

I have seen other reviewer’s photos of their camera monitors for some of these cameras and the viewing angles were much better than what I experienced, but as I mentioned, none of the cameras I tested performed that way. I’m not sure why that is.

VTPete: The media could not be loaded.  Believe it or not, this is the third iStrong product I've purchased. As we have a couple of older RVs in the family, it only made sense to try out the different models. This review is for the top of the line model with the 7" screen, but I'll also be comparing it to it's $100 little brother.

Let's start with the fantastic build quality. I was happily surprised to find the camera and transmitter unit was housed in a solid metal case with a protective glass plate on front. Because the camera is larger than the "license plate" models, you'll need to think in advance about where you'll place the camera. But, the package comes with a great swivel plate for the camera and several methods for mounting the display screen in your vehicle. Ultimately, your camera will get dirty, so it's nice that there is a flat glass plate in front for easy cleaning. The monitor is also solid, although made of molded plastic - which is better for your car's interior. It is well built with a detachable antenna and a place to hold your memory card.
