DoHonest S21 HD 1080P Bluetooth Rearview Backup Camera

Tbull: The camera has pretty solid night vision and was automatically paired. I didn’t have the built in hook up but was able to wire it directly to my running light. I have a 29 foot C class rv and have not experienced any connection loss.
Packaging came with some extra parts incase you mess up the wire the first time.
I got the overall feeling that they really care ally the product and the customer which is nice.
They even had the option to send you a free gift of your choice. Not sure if this is always the case but the options were pretty nice.

Fortin: I use this camera at the back of my 27-foot fifth wheel, and it works very well for the price I paid. I also use the DoHonest Longer/Stronger 7db Antenna with a 13.5 ft Extension Cable, which stabilizes the connection with the camera.

Bryan Gegg: Hookup overall was simple. Directions could have been a bit more clear on pairing and ensuring you had antennas on both monitor and camera while trying to pair.

Be sure your camper is plugged in when making sure the system works. My camper has 12v DC power for lights and fridge but took me a minute to realize the camper needed to be hooked up to the truck to have power to the rear camera.

Mark W.: This DoHonest camera and monitor package was a very easy setup, and many extra accessories and brackets were included to accommodate different wiring scenarios. The picture quality is very good, even in low light situations. There is only a little bit of glare when the sun is directly hitting it. We love that it allows us in real time, all the time, to see what's behind us as we are driving, not just for when backing up. We have been using this camera for the last 4 months on many rv trips, and we are still very pleased with it. The price was also very reasonable. On a side note, we bought a telescoping cup holder mount that is used for tablets and it works perfectly to secure the monitor, so we do not have to mount this on the dashboard using tape or screws.

混線も無く、画質もきれいです。電波の飛距離も格段にアップしています。今装着している有線カメラが壊れたら、これに買い換えるつもりです。

BK: camera was easy to install once i watched an online video as instructions provided are abit complicated. camera works well the couple of times i have used it. just sitting in empty space on dash as i don't want to drill into my dash to mount this and windshield cup puts the monitor too far away. need to get a Garmin bean bag type dash holder. sent in my request for the free gift - a small vacuum for the RV, and never got it. ... disappointing, but never expected it to be sent....

JohnnyP: I bought and tested four backup/rearview cameras; Yakry, Amtifo, Rohent, and Dohonest. Each of their viewing angles varied, but none of them could be considered “wide-angle” cameras. None of them could be used as BOTH a back-up camera AND a rearview mirror camera. That is; 1) the camera could be aimed down to include seeing your RV’s bumper, but it would only see back 10-25 ft and couldn’t see traffic behind you (unless you were at a stoplight or were a millisecond from being rear-ended), or 2) the camera could be aimed to see the horizon and all traffic behind you, but it would only see forward a short way and you couldn’t see your bumper. In other words, every camera could only be used as a back-up camera OR a rearview camera, but could NOT be used for BOTH functions. Put another way, none of them compete with Furrion cameras. You get what you pay for.

I have seen other reviewer’s photos of their camera monitors for some of these cameras and the viewing angles were much better than what I experienced, but as I mentioned, none of the cameras I tested performed that way. I’m not sure why that is.

David Reaves: I purchased this system to replace a Furrion camera that had a fogged lens due to moisture. A replacement camera only from Furrion was almost $300.

TLDR; The system will satisfy requirements for an inexpensive backup camera well enough.

The system included cables and a nice adapter to allow testing the camera and display before installation. The display and camera worked flawlessly while testing. Having that ability is definitely a nice touch.

The installation manual itself is not that helpful. It doesn't describe camera installation at all-- you have to figure it out. There are YouTube videos that help. The manufacturer's videos have good descriptions of the menus and configurations, but you'll have to search to find other videos with physical installation of the camera. The pamphlet included does have enough detail for basic testing and configuration.

Installation of the camera wasn't too hard, though the power adapter plug for Furrion didn't work. I am somewhat mechanical and have done automotive wiring. The installation may or may not be harder for you.

I'm not sure if it was the reversed polarity that some reviewers mentioned or the...
