Northwoods Tech BoyNorthwoods Tech Boy: I like the bracket that mounts on the license plate bolts. Works great on a 2011 Camry. Instructions are fairly easy to follow if you have mechanical skills at tapping into the reverse light. Wired it up backwards first time and to my surprise did not damage the camera. So tip is to check the 12 volt plug polarity with a meter first after you wire it before you plug it into the camera. Inside is positive and then verify that after you wire it in the backup lights with the help of another person. Picture is clear and LEDs work great at night.

S.D: After years if running back an forth to my trailer to align my hitch I was done with it. I searched Amazon and after reading reviews and looking at many different cameras I decide this is the best value and easiest to install. It took me less than an hour to hook up. I elected to hook the power to my backup light which added about 15 minutes to the project. And as others stated, the hardest part is routing the wires to the camera. Other than that it was a breeze, especially with the videos they offer. They video is crisp and just what I needed to align the old ball up to the hitch. Definitely worth buying.

Amazon Customer: Fantastic product! I back up to trailers all the time and sometimes I'm pretty close. But most of the time I have to get out of my truck then into my truck then out again then in again and so on till I get the ball exactly under the hitch.
Now, it's one shot and I'm there.
Very simple to install. Plenty of wire for my extended cab truck with 8' box.
Great product that I'm recommending to my friends.

Tyler Lum: Picture is clear. Easy to install. Mounting on the dash works well for our car. One thing to note is that I needed to buy a separate rectifier, without it the image was unstable and sometimes blacks out (this is mentioned in their instructions that this may be needed in Mercedes vehicles, but the rectifier doesn't come with this product). After adding that, it works very well!

Jeneve PikeJeneve Pike: I installed this backup camera on my 2009 GMC Serria 1500. I watched numerous install video’s which helped me decide how to hook up wiring and mounting.
As you can see I did modify the bracket for the camera to make running the camera wire easier due to a gap in the bumper molding, hiding the wire easier.
I would suggest to take power for the camera and screen at the backup light as suggested in the videos and instruction book.
I do like that the suction cup holder for the screen has some stickiness to it so you can try different mount places.
I am looking forward to having easier trailer hookups and not getting out of my truck 1/2 dozen times for hookups.

L A S: Used on my Chevy Malibu Maxx. This product worked great! I did a temp install just like the directions said to make sure it worked in the accessory outlet. All seemed well. I then decided to install it to only work when the car was backing up. Perfect the first time. Two items that may help others. The instructions are fuzzy on what to do with the negative wire but the video was more clear that you connect it to the ground of the backup light wires. I also nixed the wire connector clips they provide and soldered and electric tape-wrapped the wires. Not everyone has these tools but it worked better for me. Tacked everything inside the car molding and it looks and works great! A kid ran behind my car just today at the bank and the camera spotted him clearly. Thanks for a great product.

Dale Anderson: Bought the camera as my truck did not have factory back up camera due to age. Found installation was easy but the original camera was faulty. Dealing with the Customer Service of this Company was Top Notch! They had sent out a new one and there has not been a problem. The follow up communication has been beyond what is expected. They have been a great company do deal with.

Dale: This backup camera arrived quickly and works as expected. The picture quality is clear and the display is good. There are backup lines that you can adjust, which is helpful, and the system can be set up so that it turns on automatically when you shift into reverse (you have to tap into the backup lights to make that work) or you can just install it so that it turns on and off when you push a button on the cigarette lighter/power plug. I'm happy with it.

Amazon Customer: Worked great for 2 1/2 year (winter summer...)
Now, not working anymore. I checked all wiring from camera to screen to power. Screen works, but nothing from camera. I really liked this camera for the price.
Not sure to buy the same ... maybe I was only bad lucky on this one???

GML: Works fine as a simple backup camera. I wanted to use it as an external forward facing monitor for a costume - it worked well enough but you can't flip the image (so facing forward the image was reversed), but works perfectly well for its intended purpose of a backup camera. It tends to be quite bright at night (I think it can be adjusted), and the display is a bit small but does the job.
