sprintcarfamily: Ya’ll this little do dad has been in our case skid steer for 5 months. It has had a building fall on it, went through a tornado, multiple hail storms, and is still working. I am telling you with us having three little kids on our farm it has been a game changer. You can see just the same as a backup camera in a car. My husband has put in 60 hours with this on. luvmytacoluvmytaco: Shipping was fast. It is not directly compatible with the Voyager WiSight pre-wiring on my Winnebago Micro Minnie. I had to do some customizations in order to use the Voyager wiring, mount on the same spot, and not leave holes on my RV. Below are the critical steps I did to achieve the outcome I wanted.
Setup: Follow the instructions that came with the camera to connect with the screen.
Mounting:
1. Remove the Voyager mounting plate.
2. Remove the Voyager wiring harness.
3. Cut off the wiring on the camera to desired length (long enough to manipulate but short enough to easily fit in the cavity behind the wall).
4. Drill a hole on the Voyager mounting plate on the spot that matches the hole on the RV. The diameter should match the diameter of the camera wiring so that there are no gaps to minimize water entry.
5. Insert the camera wiring through the center hole of the camera mounting bracket, then through the hole on the Voyager plate, and then through the rubber grommet that came with the camera.
6. Connect the camera wires to the RV wiring. Make sure the connections are secure. I connected to the same color wires - the camera will be on whenever the tow...
