Deidre Jordan: I bought the motion sensor as an addition to my tolviviov security system. Overall I am pleased with the system, but one night in, the motion sensor triggered the alarm on my way to the bathroom. Thinking there must have been something I did wrong since the system was new to me, I checked the status on my phone and it was set for home mode like I wanted. After a couple of minutes of trouble shooting, I decided to turn the entire system off which defeats the purpose. I will probably just turn the motion sensor off completely before going to bed. If I’m unable to find a better solution, I’ll likely return it.
Update: I figured out what was wrong, and I was the problem. I was able to go into the app settings and change the motion sensor to away only during home mode. I will definitely be keeping it. I changed my rating to five stars because I also didn’t know this was a review for the entire system. I am very pleased with it overall. It is definitely a big money saver as it does eliminate the monthly fees for home security but still provides peace of mind.
